Hi all just a quick question, i purchased AION today digital from ncsoft and have been downloading all day got about 2gig done and now its restarted and ive lost the 2 gig ???. now i didnt expect to be playing tonight cause of server load etc but any peeps got advice about this issue cause im really angry right now. Anybody else had this issue? cause i cant bare to keep it restarting on me. Thanks in advance for any help guys and gals. |

your best option is to download it from Fileplanet etc.. is way faster. Youll need to dl around 10 Gigas too.

getting fed up now had fileplanet downloading over night and that failed too when i woke. So now im trying ncsoft downloader again but got a feeling when i get home in 12 hrs it will be the same story again. Learnt my lesson in future im waiting for the boxed set , cause at this rate it will be fri before i get to play anyway. very sad state of affairs for me . |

watsup man, ive had a problem similar to yours. Only that it wasnt downloading aion, it was downloading RoM, but maybe it will help. like you i was up around 2.4 g and then restart. On my case it was because the internet speed was doing good, not great around 200KB/s and then when it got to 2.4 g it went 00.00 KB/s, you see apparently my internet sometimes crashes during the night, it will get running again on its own, but if it reaches 00.00 KB/s then the download site takes it as if the download was canceled, so once the internet fires back up, it has to restart. Its a pain in the ass, so i ended up downloading multiple files, sizes around 1g each. i dont know if you can do this with aion, but if you can you should try that. If you cant then maybe you should check if it is your internet, if not then i dont know, Good luck i guess. Also make sure your computer doesnt sleep or anything like that, im pretty sure you knew this. Anywasy hope i helped a bit. GL |

At the moment you cant get aion like that as far as i know, my pc doesnt sleep i turned that off when i first got it. what makes me really mad is the ncsoft downloader is supposed to carry on where it left off even if you lose connection which i wouldnt mind if it were true. thanks for trying to help my friend i guess ill see when i get home , |
