Don't rely on quests in order to level up. Learn to grind. Camping the Arena NPC was one of the most rewarding experiences I had in Closed and Open beta and will certainly strengthen your faction. I encourage everyone to do it for the benefit of your faction. |

Camping the Arena NPC for faction??? I guess I am not understanding what you mean, the only thing to do in the Arena I could find in beta was PvP other Asmodians, and that did not do anything but give you practice. We checked to see if you got anything for fighting in the arena and couldn't see any kind of gain or loss, and I dont remember any NPC except the exit NPC What do you mean? www.90and9.net |

I mean, by killing anyone attempting to do the Arena Quest by talking to the NPC in the arena, you teach new players in your faction the folly of depending on quests in order to level up. |

Also, having troubles on that one quest does not make questing, itself, 'folly', but it will teach players about patience, and how to use their time wisely as opposed to constantly running into a place and dying a hundred times until, perchance, they sneak by and finish it. |

That quest is the abyss access quest, And killing players trying to do that quest is uncool.

Don't forget, anti griefing mechanics will be in place now. So be careful.
Fear not fanbois, we are not trolls, let's take off your tin foil hat and learn what VAPORWARE is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware "Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product." |

so basicly its hogg (rom) all over again and game asnt even lunched yet great thats so screwed up thats why ive been saying for a while that the war system is a nice way to lower the gank chance better each time a player kill a non-flagued player they should be debuffed by say 10 % and carnage flagued (both side can kill him,and the debuff would have a duration of 15 min each additive that mean if you killed 10 player you get around 150 min duration of the debuff wich would put you at 1 everywhere no wonder rom is dead on usa server player say nono its not hog ya right kind of weird before hogg most server always had lot of player in usa now they release an expension and server in usa stays empty this is so not right ganking player to make sure they dont level so you dont have to fight them that is so weak its bhaa why do i freaking bother we ll just go play wow again lol |

Lets see if I follow the logic here: you camp an npc in the arena (which I managed to get to) that is required for a quest that gives you experience and helps you level up to teach people that they shouldn't rely on questing to lvl up but grind instead. And by doing so it strengthens your faction by inhibiting them to gain the xp from the quest that will help them level up to actually be helpful to the faction. Yeah I don't see your logic. Personally I think it's you just trying to find a way to justify being a complete douchebag to the players who just want to turn in the quest and get the xp so they can continue on their merry way. Quests are there for a reason...to give the player a goal to achieve, and by blocking them and saying you're doing it so they can't rely on questing is just proving to them that you are an ass. You are essentially taking away the xp from them. If you're so grind happy go play Holic or return to Lineage 2.
Personally the shrink in me thinks that the OP was repeatedly smashed in the face when he attempted to do the quest when he first started so the only way to heal his mental wounds is to do the same. Poor form. "If at first you don't succeed, excessive force is probably the answer."

So not only are you advocating griefing, but you're advocating griefing your own allies? Wow, let me get right on that, I love being a miserable jack%#$ since my real life sucks so badly and I feel the need to take it out anonymously on other people on the internet... yeah. Oh and my epeen is freaking immense too so there... uh huh.
Edited it back to original... I like it that way. ------------------------- |

Well, it'd be pretty hard to ban me...
since I would just unban myself.
By the way, repeated killing of players in the Arena for any reason is not a bannable offense. |
