Zikel is not full.  When one race has more than 11% more than the other, they temporarily disable character creation for this faction.  Just wait a while and try again.  All it takes is a few more of the other team to be created.

I was getting worried there becasue all servers were telling me that I cant create an Asmodian.. and I dont want to get stuck on the other faction with all the children who want to be "pretty angels" lol.

Actually, servers are now starting to be fully blocked off because they have reached capacity for headstart. Like I posted before, Spatalos has already been shut off until Live because of this.

I havent heard anything on Zikel yet though.

 So are you saying that I paid for 2 day head start; and most likely will not get it as an Asmodian now ?

East Coast servers Azphel, Triniel and Zikel are currently full.

East Coast servers Israphel and Machutan are currently with asmodian character creation disabled.

Either roll Elyos or wait until they increase server capacity, which I believe is highly limited for now as they want to direct those that have no legion or friends to follow yet to the lower populated servers while holding many slots to make available later on for those that do really want to roll on these servers.

Like I say, I have heard nothing about Zikel being at capacity. I just know other servers are being locked off as they fill.

If it is just a matter of faction balance, then yeah just keep trying every hour or so until the sides even out.

But... bear in mind with the servers filling to capacity they might be locked off before you get your asmo slot... They will be unlocked for Live launch again.

I am sure you will get a asmo slot on one of the servers somewhere, if you don't mind too much which one.

 But if I hold out and wait.. will I be able to play during the head start as an Asmodian.. or are they ** Completely ** locked out ?

Ahh, there ya go, better info then I have :)

The have stated that the capacity servers will be unlocked for Live, so I wouldnt expect them to do anything before then.

Sorry, they're all full! I can't believe it really, this sucks, I mean why does Siel have to be the least populated server? I'm a bit pissed off right now.

Checked on this.  They are now locking servers to funnel people to other servers.  Once there is a balance, they will unlock again.

yeah, I am only working off their FB posts, but this looks far more hopefull to the folks looking to get on a specific server :)

We need to balance the population out even between our servers. While some empty are full to the bursting, others aren't as filled up. We need to promote characters on these servers in order to reduce latency risks and overcrowding. Limits will be increased once we see that server populations balance out. This is not static / final."

right now all or most of the [east] servers are "full" for now. And  many [west] servers are elyos only. From ayases statement it looks like they will adjust the pop caps up as they go; presumably once those [west] servers are "full" too.

Im actually going Elyos for the opposite reason:  All the kiddies wanting to be the 'bad' guys.  Happens in every game with pvp it seems.

Seil was the first server i tried, asmode locked.  That was hours ago....

Wont let you roll on a server you didnt play on the betas, which means if you only played one server or all the servers you did play in are locked, like me, your stuck.  This better not be what happens during the head start.

 I got into Israphel as an Asmodian about a half hour ago.. just keep trying fellas.

 hooo guys did you  see that 6 server temp lock mean server are filling up nicelly by sunday  all server should be pretty balanced men i love this system its a assle but men it balance the game more then any i saw before

What are you talking about only let you roll on a server you played during beta? I roled on Zikel  but did not play on it during beta.

I agree I remimber DAoC's failed attempts to balance the server populations this seems like it might actualy work by forcing the balance I just hope the players dont take it to harshly and it backfire on them.

I for one was lucky enough to get on teh server my guild aimed for and the faction of course but I can see why some one would be offtly pissed to be not be able to role on the server there guild was on. Perhaps they shold look at possible apeal option though that could take time . . . or allow the guilds to register on the NC account manager and group up there then allow you to role on your guild masters primary server no matter the balancing though this would open up the possibilty of expolting the system i.e. some oen role a guild and just invite every one that wanted to be on that faction on that server.
