Just curious what NCSOFT did to this game. I played CB and other than a little lag now and then the game ran great. Every since OB started  all i see is people having problems with one thing or another.

It has to be true, i have internet links.

They fixed all the issues we had been complaining about including Gameguard.

Yeah, GG is gone on Sunday (patch) and they did some patches for lag (heard some stuff about routing issues, can't confirm).

People started having serious lag and disconnect problems the first day of OB. It got mostly cleaned up after patches and fixes the second and third days.

^^

Open beta caused problems as always and those were fixed.  Name pre-selection was delayed by 40 minutes due to hundreds of thousands of people spamming AION to try to get in first.  Those problems were fixed and now everything is happy and on track for launch!

EDIT:  There are still little problems apparently with pre-selection but nothing too crazy.

In CB they used their local servers in Texas. For Open Beta they moved the servers to the ones they will use for live. People had routing issues and NCSoft cleared them up in about 24 hours.
