When I put my username and password in and press ok, the game just stops responding.  The waterfall is still going in the back, but this is the same problem I had in OB due to kaspersky that uninstalling kaspersky fixed.  Now it's not fixing it.  Any suggestions?

I think everyone is having this problem.  The client doesn't seem to cope well if the login server is down.

Try having aion disappear from your launcher

It just means everyone is hammering the login server all at once.

Takes about 2 minutes or so and the client will close down.

I just go relax, have a drink and check back later in an hour or so, maybe even two.

No rush really.

Basically gonna take a little bit. They open up the servers and then 100k people try to access it at once, that's gonna through a monkey wrench in things.

got the background charlie's angels style music going full throttle, dandelion seeds and water fall animation, too...but after an interminably long amount of time, all i get for typing in my username and password and hitting ok is a pop-up informing me that i have been disconnected form the server.

argh!

yeah its just the servers being bombarded even aion's homepage is down they got overloaded in the frist 15 minutes

How funny I get the game updated and now it says the game won't run because Game Guard is missing...please re-install Game Guard.   Umm?

I get an NCSoft Launcher message "Servers are currently unavailable, please check your internet connection and try again later".  LOL!  I am honeslty not suprised at all of this.

I have 3:00 p.m. (EST) and still can not log in.  All but the US servers are up.

well, i'm d--mned grumpy. when a company advertises a scheduled service and doesn't come through, it's frustrating.  so i'll continue to be grumpy, thank-you, until i can access the preselection. lol

Yes they advertised this service and that it would start by 12:00PM PDT.  However, anyone who has ever played an MMO knows that nothing starts on time.  So again I repeat my request that you "quit your bitching."

well, duh, 'anyone who has played an MMORPG blah blah blah'....just because it's happened before doesn't mean that i don't have a right to be grumpy and post whatever i want to, comrade. if you don't like it, read another thread.

and you're lucky that the servers came up when they did or you'd have heard plenty from more dissatisfied customers. and seeing how you appear to have some sort of psychological disability that prevents you from ignoring threads you don't want to read, that would have made you very uncomfortable indeed.
