I think the title pretty much says it all.

I'm just curious with all the talk of 300k sold. How many of these were because people wanted to try the beta and now that they did, how many of those 300k are canceling? 

Yes, I'm one that canceled. For me it didn't bring much new to the table and actually felt like a lot of the f2p games I've tried. But that is what I feel, not bashing you if you like it. Just curious how many canceled their order?

I will not be picking up my preorder for the same reason, nothing new I cant live without. I wouldnt compare to to F2P though.

I have cancelled my pre-order. Nothing wrong with the game just dont like linear game and not a big PVP fan hate getting ganked by hight lvl players for no reason and no gain.

I didnt play the beta much, but I intend to keep my preorder.  Not that the game is THAT good, I have only played up to level 10 on a few characters.  But I am just bored as shit so ill play.

The number just went up to 400,000, so 300,000 is old news here.   You are just asking to be called "Troll".

Never pre-ordered, nor plan to play it again anytime soon...gonna give it 6mo or more and see how it does!  I don't hate it, but it also does nothing new and feels like I've played it before!  Also the forced PvP after lvl 40 is disappointing...

 I thought to cancel after playing beta but again tell me another mmorpg i can play now? so will play since it's new game.

I'll be playing it on my pre-order. Not sure why so many are still faulting Aion for stuff they could never have experienced, oh well, to each their own I guess.

the only other game I think i would play If I didn't play aion would be eve online...

Keeping mine because frankly theres nothing better out there. I mean if you want a good PVE game just play WoW or LOTRO. This fills the gap with a good pvp focused game.

when WOW came out, I believed a lot people were saying the same thing:  It's horrible, too cratooish, Nothing new!!!  I was one of them, I didn't play WOW until later Mid 2005, but I didn't play long (4 months).  WOW isn't a bad game, and it gave me a few months of entertainment which I needed it.  Aion is the same, it's a solid and old fashion MMO, it's not that great but it's not that bad.  Most of people will play like me just because nothing is good in the market.  Don't tell me to go to play EVE, I would rather go to be a REAL MINER then mine fake rock in the space.  Next year comes will be a different story, FFXIV, SW: TRO, STO and etc, then that will be the time to judge if Aion can hold on to all the players and stay strong or shirk to a small population like AOC or War with a few servers.

So, no need to be a troll  and bash the game.  What's the point of asking this kind of question in the forum if your intention is just going to flame the forum.

I cancelled my Steam pre-order awhile ago, although NCsoft still show me as having a CE account.

OMG get over it its not force,, I don't see a gun to your head!!!! just say you don't like pvp at that magnitude and I will say, I understand, pvp isnt for all... Its a pvpve not  a pvepvp like wow. JJust go to a pve back to pve like DAoC wow FF XI, ect. I could say I dont Like Forced PVE!!!

I guess you are right on the destinction there, mine isnt' a pre-order either - it's a pre-purchase a month ago. All four of them actually, payed for in full. (I pre-purchased for a couple friends that are moving to Aion with me.) Wouldn't cancel mine even if I had the option still.

I gave a couple of reasons on what I thought. So if you don't agree with me your trolling? Grow up. I said if you liked it great. I was just curious on how many are actually canceling.

Everyone on this site needs to relax.  Half flame the game for it's being too similar to WoW and not similar enough to sandbox, and half defend the game to its death.  If a game is bad, I admit it.  This isn't the best game I can envision, but I certainly can see worse.  I haven't played an MMO since WAR being part of the first month ragequit and before that WoW and GW.

Just giving up a game because of its earliest content is like if I gave up an FPS because I couldn't customize my character the way I wanted.  In both cases, the parts of the game exposed to you have nothing to do with the juicy PvP content available.  I am in love with territory control ever since playing BF2 and just want a decent MMO to finally be released.

And, if it is bad, I will be the first to put it down.  Of course any fangirls and trolls/haters will have their usual kneejerk reaction of buy buy buy or sell sell sell.

Canceled mine becouse I couldn't get into it. Just seemed like the same old same old with much nicer pixels. However, wish it well as lots of my rl freinds love it and hope everybody who plays it has great time.

I can post that "I already canceled the game" but in fact I have never ordered the game.  How would you know who is telling the truth??  Unless you request everyone to post the web page that show them have canceled the game as a proof.

Again, personally I could careless who is playing or who is canceling the game, nothing to do with me anyway.  I don't own NCsoft stock and I don't work for NCsoft.
