Here's the news: According to updated FAQ is All Points Bulletin not going to require monthly subscriptions for online play. Do we have a new GW model challenger here?

Awesome, a game that I don't have to worry about paying monthly fees for. Also for 100 people per server I wouldn't buy it if it had a monthly sub. Current MMO: Champions Online, Aion |

As it is unlikely that there will only be the initial fee, this is my single greatest worry about this game. I'd choose subscriptions any day over the alternatives. |

actually 50 people in one city is crowded, 100 sounds like too much. Good on paper, bad in practice. This is based on GTA 4 8 player free roam, granted it may be smaller city but its easy to see how 100 people in bigger city is A LOT. It will be mayhem, lots of random deaths as well.
No monthly subs is good news, although it opens the door for micro-transactions, possibly :-/ |
