anyone know a decent free game till the release of Aion? bit boared xD

Dungeons and Dragons Online - DDO.  Just went free to play.  You can probably get a few days enjoyment out of that.

Savage 2, not an mmo to be exact, but great rts/hack n slash/keep siege game none the less.

If your looking for an mmo strictly i'd say Shen Megami Tensi: Imagine

good game, but rarely discussed here for some reason.

Honestly Aion comes out in 5 days, seems like a waste to start up a new game before then :)

PWI (Perfect World International) is pretty good for a F2P, and if you play a winged elf, you can fly at level 1.

I'll be recruiting for my Final Fantasy XIV days and spending time on the forums until Aion is released. It's just a few days from now, I'm sure we can hold out for that long. And, at least we know the release date, lol, I remember in 2007, didn't know when Aion was getting released.

All worth checking out to pass some time if you haven't played them yet in my opinion.

I'm gonna freeze myself, and have a freind come get me the day of release so I can be thawed out.

I really wanted to try out DDO but sadly I just don't have enough time it seems.

 I'm currently playing Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. Not an MMO but it keeps me occupied for the coming days before Aion.

It has to be Runes of magic, seems to be the best of the lot, in fact it is a very good game.

I found Perfect world and DDO to be awful games, best staying clear of those. :)

Or.....you could just relax for a few days. Kick back and watch a lil TV, get some well deserved rest, go shopping and stock up on beer and pizza for the big day! The only gaming I'm doing until Aion release is resetting my CoH Day Job locations, maybe play with the i16 power colors.

I would read up on the class you intend to play (if you've decided on a class that is).  If you haven't decided go read some more.  It's going to be pretty important I think to pick one toon and stick with it and not be wasting time trying out the classes.  I got all of the trying out of different classes during the beta's.  Also watch Aion videos on youtube.  There's tons of them to keep you interested in the short wait time we have left before launch.

I'm going to spend the next few days looking for stuff to sell so that I can afford to buy another game...

would also a recommend a read of the lore its a great read when you get into it and gives a good perspective from both sides.

Neither is at fault for what happened but both blame each other a nice take on the usual good and evil thing and very human in nature just because 1 doesnt understand the other or blames them for something they become enemy.

Im gonna do everything else besides playing MMO. this way my hunger for Aion Builts!!!!! mwhahaha then rush lvl on release

Best game i chould think of is Heroes of Newerth, its currently in beta, but i think you an get a invite here and there, im in it, and i cant say how much i enjoy playing it.

Just for info, HoN is W3 Dota on its own engien and with alot of new featers, chat, stats, exc.

I say you should go buy a book!  Find a book at your local book store that has anything to do with Daevas and read up.  It'll make the atmosphere and lore a bit more personal.  You'll find objects and references hitting a bit closer to home. 

Me?  Well I'm cleaning the heck out of my house in order to sell it.  3-6 hours a day after I get home from work scrubbing and painting.
