umm... It is finished its been out in china for awhile now. Where have you been.

Great Post this, and summed up my feelings perfectly, so much trolling on AION - its as if the WoW world is really very scared of it indeed.

I'm interested in the game, but I refuse to install a rootkit on my computer so will probably never play it.

Yes I will be playing the game.  Yes I know it's not original but at least it will keep me busy till Star Wars comes out and then I'll become a bounty hunter.  Just to kill time with Aion.

How can you be re-tarded if you are already tarded?

Yah this seems to be the case with a lot of Aion players, I hope not everyone is planning on leaving it for something else.

That's why I have two computers, one for gaming and one for business and online shopping. Those rootkits, they're a mess.

I know what that means, it means that you aren't gonna be playing Aion at all. Easy to level? Hmm, at level 25 it'll be so hard you'll quit. lol

oh, look! it's a big fat troll trying to start an argument. do you know me, troll? no you don't. so don't presume to predict what i will and will not be doing, thank-you.
honestly, what makes you post such a hostile and assumptive comment?
i actually enjoy a challenge when lvling . everyone knows that Aion will be most enjoyable when you hit the higher lvls, so i was merely commenting on the fact that you don't end up spending inordinate amounts of time  grinding away to get to the lvl where pvp really shines. and of course, i am aware that lvling becomes more challenging the higher you go. that is one of the hallmarks of a quality MMORPG. if i didn't experience some expenditure of effort in a game, there would be no point in playing the game in the first place.
the fact that i could lvl quickly while a lowbie just means that i could decide on my class preference for this particular game with less time wasted. (this is important to me, as i will be purchasing this game for my daughter, who has never played MMORPG's before and i would like her to get a full sense of the advantages and drawbacks of each class before setting her sights on her personal favorite and concentrating on lvling that toon.)  i personally don't expect things to continue along those lines throughout the entire duration of the game. i certainly hope they do not!
i am 38 years old, not 12. i understand the value of persistance and dedication and the sytem of incentive.

Completely everything I want to say to trolls, thank you for speaking your mind. :)

I'm glad you clarified that up. Then you realize Aion's got some challenging levels, but the real reward is the endgame PvP, can't wait to get to it.

I play the original  and CAT will put Azeroth redone right in the center of the universe for the coming 20 months.

After that I'll try ST and Kotor, but nothing is gonna pull me from a Blizzard game.

Certainly not a translated closed Korean box with fixed zones and invisible walls.

I guess Xfire will for sure display the truth behind those so called massive successes.

400 K at launch and 100K after one year. We already have seen it all. In every aspect.

This is a guy who is a well know WoW flamer . He must be worried to come here and troll in an AION forum lol . Notice his use of Xfire again even though its widly accepted not to be accurate . Hes been flaming Cataclysm all over the WoW forums he actually expects it to be released in the early part of next year when the most likly release date is a year or more away .So if your bored with WOW theres plenty of time to try AION for a year before even thinking about the next WoW expansion pack .

I wonder how he knows what the bosses are like or what any of aions like for that matter given hes never played it . So he cant offer any balanced opinion on it beyond  his own bigotry.

I agree, he doesn't understand that Aion has over a million subscribers in Asia, no way it could fail.

I was originally very happy to enter the game. I made the pre-purchase and tried the OB for two days, until my computer started misbehaving. Then I found the reason: GameGuard.

We've heard of a few programs that cause this problem, including nProtect GameGuard, Trend Micro Internet Security, PC-Cillin Anti-Virus and PC Tools Spyware Doctor.
...
This issue highlights the importance of the new tamper detection technology enabled by the Software Protection Platform in Windows Vista. When evidence of system tampering is detected the system will go into a non-genuine or tampered state depending on the tamper. Also, depending on the severity of tampering the remedies for it can range from a simple reboot all the way to a complete re-install. In this particular case, the programs in question delete a specific system setting that triggers the tamper detection.

MSDN Source.
Too much trouble, especially to re-set an entire workstation with licensed apps. My computer did give me a warning sign.

Pity. That's all I can say. So, no. I regretfully won't be a part of Aion.

Workstation?  You know why they call em workstations right?  You know cause you do work on em.

Seriously though.  Im playing on release, Havnt played any of my f2p games or fps since OB closed. Which is kinda weird for me. And nothing looks good right now:

MO sounds like script/mod kiddies are making it.

TOR sounds like another Bioware game, some people like em but I only play there games for the IP and if it wasnt for the IPs I would never buy one of there games.  SP its okay but I dont like my mmos that way.

Fallen Earth: Played in beta and after awhile it reminded me of Horrizons but I feel Horizons was a better crafting game (not saying it was good but SWG (the original) was the best).

The exception is Earthrise and FF but im playing it cool for those two games till they get close to release. But i get the feeling ill be playing Aion till FF comes out.           Which should be a year or two till usa sees it (havnt followed it but thats how the current one went down).

Long story short, yall ill be playing it on release.

Aion is extremely fun and meaningful. The abyss owns, it is probably the best method for PvP I've ever heard of. PvPvE is definitely a greater challange and offers a lot of strategies.
