... whoever can re-create my face in the game, and I'm not kidding...

Been messing around for quite a while with the character customization and I just can't get it right... And I know some people out there are VERY skilled when it comes to that, so here's the thing: I'm offering 50$ of real cash (not in-game money here or that kind of crap) that I could send through PayPal or whatever to whoever can reproduce my face on an avatar. Just post your result here (character customization screen), and whoever I think is the closest by the time the Head Start begins will get the cash (actually some friends are watching this thread too, so I can get their opinions too).

And of course, to help you, here's my face below...

Sorry for the pics, had to dig one + take 2 real quick with a crappy cellphone and put that together in Microsoft Paint...

Give it a shot if you want, and no I'm not kiddin' for the cash: I really want my face on my avatar...

but the avatar will on that person's account, how are you going to get it???  Have he/she told you step by step to make that avatar?

You don't have to fully create the character, just the face in the customization menu (preview).

Basically just re-create the face and take a picture (including the sliders). Or if you're paranoid just take the face and send me the sliders values after I sent the money, no biggies.

Well, I guess I am going to try it.  hehehe not very good at creating avatar but for 50 bucks, I will try :D

Here is a starting point for free for you and whoever else wants to try. You did not specify Elyos or Asmodian, so I started with one. Sliders will be the same, only hair and coloring will change :) This is fun for me, I wish I had more time before the beta ends tonight.

And yeah sorry for not posting that earlier this week but I was out of the country :S

Worst case scenario there's the pre-selection Friday, will be able to try during that day since the character customization menu will (probably) be available and not just the name selection...

didn't NCsoft extent OB to tomorrow like 5 AM?? Since now it's 11:58 PM...  and even OB is over, I can still wok on it!!  I still have my Chinese version :D

Ok, first time I crated on Asmodian side, now this time is Elyos.

Here I tried...

I tried it for the fun and challenge. It was harder than I expected. Here's the closest I could get without spending hours fine tuning features.

Wow nice I knew customization was great in aion bu didn't thought anyone would want his face :P

Some really got it near apart of the hair but he wanted the face so it should be more then enough hehe.

It's not a competition lol Just a normal guy looking for some help to re-create myself in-game...

Regarding when it's going to end: my thought was to ''declare the winner'' (if there's one at all) when the Head Start begins during the 20th, but maybe giving it a bit more time would be a good idea for those who won't be able to login that day and after.... So there's no ''timer'' on this: whoever can post a pic that will make me (and friends too) go ''Oh shit it's me!!!'' or ''Damn it's pretty damn close, you could swear it's me!!!'' will get the cash...

50$ is nothing for me, especially to see myself in the game... And I know some people out there are REALLY talented to re-create people in this game (face-wise I mean), so I consider the 50$ a ''thank you'' for the work... So far the results are nice, but off... I really need that ''oh shit'' moment when I'll look at the pic...

EDIT: Regarding the post above me: yeah exactly, the face is the important thing. For the hair I know it's limited, just put either the ''no-hair-with-tattoos'' one or short hair, I don't mind. Just scare me by how accurate you can reproduce me in-game

I declare the winner, hands down. From the picture you gave she is the most accurate especially the eyes shape and chin part. there is a bit of work on the profile, but really not much.

Ho and ye she should punch your nose a bit on the left side, but you can ask for that ingame...
