its just to lonely. I am on Norn server (Arguebly the most populer server in EU) and i just dont bump into nobody and when i do its shocking and i make the most of it by chatting to them. Granted i am not level 40 yet, i am trying to enjoy my time getting to it, by exploreing the world, reading the quests, doing PVP, Profession and whatnot, because as i said its the best mmo i have played. I just hate how empty and lonely it is, im sure it might change a little when i reach 40 but up untill that point i cant handle, i like the feeling of knowing theres other people playing with me, even if they aint grouped, just seeing other people walk past you, stand around chatting or just generaly killing monsters in the same area as you, im sure you will agree that it is nice and its a nice feeling.
But i just dont get that as i keep saying and its upsetting, i just wish this game was populer, i wish it was the most populer mmo there is out there, heck i wish every mmo player out there from meridian59 to champions online would come and join us in Warhammer, but i know its just not going to happen : (
I don't really have any questions or any dicussion points for that matter in this post, i just wanted to let out my feelings that i have been keeping inside me since my time of playing. If wishes could come true, well you know mine now. |

It was empty when I was playing less than a month after release. Doing maybe 3 PQs in t4 was silly. |

I tried playing it again recently and it felt better, but what you mentioned was the reason why I quit once more. I like PvPing and I love the idea of scenarios. I think that the level 1-11 scenarios are the funnest ones, sadly (never played 31-40) but now it takes forever just to get into a scenario. Warhammer's aesthetic makes it feel like a real world and that doesn't happen too often. Public quests and PvP were awesome, too, but there were so many problems as well that people aren't willing to come back. Many of those problems haven't been fixed, either. 1 main city, no balancing, bland quests, fortress sieges being very convoluted, gear not particularly making you feel epic, a strange crafting system that doesn't seem to matter... Warhammer hasn't really tried to fix anything it seems. They released the two classes they wanted to start with and they added some instances but overall they lost so many employees that it's unrecoverable. It's sad, really, but WAR is a dying species that is suffering from two deadly diseases. Bad past player experience (especially with the hype) and game company destruction. EA raped Mythic and now there is little that they can do. Objectivity is delivered with a lack of personality made for the mainstream but never used for the mainstream. |

well this is bad :/ i have been waiting for warhammer to launch a couple of months before it did with a lot of anticipation..I played on open beta on head start and about 6 months after that and i still think that it was a great game. And i really liked my time on it but after 6 months i got tired and bored..I had the same issue with other players leaving the game i got disappointed.. on the last days i was the only member online from the once best guild in my server..Still thinking back on it i had a great time and you should continue playing until you experience all the content that this game has to offer..But unfortunately dont hope that things will change and that population numbers will raise a lot cause most likely it wont..Just play for your fun for as long as it lasts :) |

Yeah, WAR's already in the dead pool list.... it might hang on, but it never will be a popular game.

Best mmo you've ever played? Everyone has their own opinion of course but.....well.....either your standards are extremely low or you need to try out some other mmos |

It's away been one of WARs weaknesses it's always felt empty even when the game was frist released and it had lots of people playing it felt like you was playing alone and as people left the game in droves the feeling just got worse. |

Its one of the main reasons I left War myself, I think I ended up changing servers 4 times and still could not finsh public quests or find groups. after a while you just give up and do something else |

I was extremely disappointed with this game. At first I was ignoring all of the flaming of this game and felt that I should give this game a chance...after downloading and playing for few hours..I was disgusted with the gameplay and how terrible it was... Never again will I doubt the true flamers of mmos again... |

Try Aion. If WAR is the best mmo you've ever played, you'll fall in love with Aion. I come from a bad experience at WAR myself, I was one of the initial buyers and quitters. I played in the Aion open beta and have liked everything I have seen thus far. Graphics are great, combat feels excellent, and the world is full. The World PvP in Aion is much better executed than in WoW and there are actual reason to want to hold a keep, such as getting a tax from the land, dungeon access, gear, |

Have you been stalking to see what other MMO's he has or has not tried? If you're going to flame, at least flame boldy. -- Personally I've only played a 10-day trial on WAR. I was out of town in a hotel (during Ike evacuation) when it was released, and it appeared on the shelves in the city where I was staying. I wanted to get it, but did not because of the other unexpected expenses that week. During the trial, I did find the game to be pretty fun. I wish, even now, that it would make a come back - but as Kyleran said, it is pretty much in the dead pool. I'm glad I did not buy it outright. If they would reduce the cost to $20 as AoC has, I would probably go in at least a couple of months. How dare you present him with logic! Don't you understand? He fights epic fights, in epic games, with epic toons....eats epic food and takes epic dumps! He has more e..pic..icity...ness in his little finger than you have in your whole unepic body! - ChicagoCub |

I wanted to continue playing WAR too, but lag and bugs made me quit and uninstall the game. After a year... Aion Collectors Edition is priced to 999€ in Finland. Maybe because there's none to sell :D |

Originally posted by UsedManatee If you like playing alts, I would recommend a few months sub, as the lower levels are a lot of fun, and there are many fun classes to try out. I have rolled more than 70 alts in the game, because the tier one gameplay is great.

Originally posted by Rosmariini I won't say it's the best MMO I've played, but *at times* it was the most fun I've ever had in an online game. Lack of population is what drove me away too. Logging on and finding empty RvR lakes, empty PQ's, and ridiculously long Scenario que times was downright depressing. If WAR had a single-server / shard system like Champions Online, I would still be playing today, and I bet the game would be in much better shape. |

Even though I'm deeply concerned about the game's future, being on Karak Norn myself I have to disagree with you.
I just logged in now which is 11am UK time and I get instant queues for scenarios in T4... Didn't try to find an ORVR WB since my net is slow at the moment and can't even play. But regarding activity the game seems heatlthy on this server... Don't forget Karak Eight Peaks merged with Karak Norn starting yesterday ! |

If some areas feel empty join a guild with players in it from your tier. I'm a bit stunned at some of the replies to this topic, personaly I love WAR, there is no other Rvr/PvP experience like it being offered by any other game. It has it's problems and bugs but it's still an amazing game. |

I played Karak Eight Peaks at launch and it was the most active servers (one of the cloned servers). How on earth can it go from huge population down to free character transfers ? Maybe because ppl there found out how much the game was lacking before others (alot of very active players were there). Anyway - I dont play anymore and tbh I do not care what happens to my characters on KEP. My bet is that they will be deleted since Im not subscribing anymore. Well.. then I have even better reasons to never come back =) |
