i been having a problem recently when i log in on Aion it's all good play till about 7-8 mins later when i'm playing the whole screen goes black and i cant play game anymore i have to restart my comp after that, what can i do ??? |

If so its usually a case of just graphic's driver's failing if you have updated them recently then may need to uninstall and roll them back.
If you havent updated them in a while update them.   |

Updating the drivers as has been stated is a good thing to do. You might also (if the drivers update doesn't fix the issue) go to the video settings in game and try resetting to defaults. I had a couple oddities in game (no mobs/npcs visible in the Abyss, for instance) and resetting to default popped everything right back up. |

Considering there is a certain amount of time before the bug triggers, could be your ram or your computer overheating as well. 7-8 minutes is usually plenty for your processor OR video card to overheat, causing it to auto-shutdown (screen goes black), and having you reset the computer. Ram too. Either windows not able to unload memory properly or the ram is broken and causes a black screen when full, but this would usually trigger a blue screen of death, so highly unprobable.
I'd go with driver/directx/sound card update. See if it happens still, but I am pretty sure it's overheating. |

I have a similar problem.. after exactly 27-28 minutes of playing aion it freezes up and I have to press the power button. I recently updated to the latest drivers on my nvidia card. |

I had this issue but was happening no matter what I was doing on the computer.
I traced the problem down to the memory. It was actually a build up of dust in and around the memory sticks. Quick hoover out and problem was sorted. |

ok so it's been confirmed i updated my Nvidia graphics card and it's running so much better it has not gone black for about 30mins let's see what happens down the road, ty all for your hlp :), and good thing i need my comp running smooth for pre-launch of Aion

ok so i'm back with bad and sort of good news, i was able to stay on for 45mins then it did it again i just need a better fan for my graphics card?
