Aion won't kill WoW. It might hurt WAR and AoC quite abit tho... won't kill those either. Not so sure about LOTR... I don't think it have much impact on it.  |

It will have an impact on all those listed. Some more than others. It won't kill WoW, but it will chip away at it as will GW2, SWToR, and others. WoW will still be around a year from now. It may not have the numbers that it does now, but the fact that the Blizzard booth was packed at PaX tells you something. |

When I first read this I thought it was going to be a funny thing but I think OP is serious. Aion will not have a big impact on WOW, maybe a bit of a hit to WAR and AOC due to PVP. Aion is a good game but I played through all of CB. It is solid, fun, better PVP than most games, but not good enough to kill any other AAA MMO.

AION will bury War and AoC yes but that`s not saying much since they both on life support. I think AoC subs droped to under 10k or something sad like that. It`s as empty as Vanguard at this point. As for WoW, we can all live without the WoW kiddies runing around whining and what not in AION. We should all go to WoW forums and tell them how AION sucks donkey balls and that they should stay true to their "game" yep. I care about your gaming 'problems' and teenage anxieties, I really do, just not today. |

No single MMO will ever dominate the market like Eq and WoW did. The industry is too mature and populated. If anything we should expect each MMO to become smaller and targeting specific niches....like cable TV |
