Both me and my friend have windows 7 and both cannot play the open beta...sigh. I know windows 7 is still beta but i heard all the gameguard errors and such was fixed with the last patch...doesnt seem to be the case for all.  I guess i just wait for COD..with this economic climate, and the current state of MMO's 50bucks is just too much without trying it out first.  Good luck everyone in AION and hope you all have fun!

playing: Dragon Age
Waiting: for FF14, Mass Effect
Want to try: Fallen Earth

How is windows 7 compatibility as far as other games? I'm waiting for sure, but  is it only the new games that wont work?

I've been playing Aion and many other games just fine on Windows 7. When I do get a game guard error, I just ignore the little dialogue box and keep playing. It only closes the game when you click "OK".

I'm playing it on two separate windows 7 machines.  Just search google for "Windows 7 gameguard fix"  It's out there, it's easy to install, you'll be playing Aion in a few minutes.

google it. There's a few things you can disable in the start up (in addition to your firewall) that'll get rid of most, if not all the gameguard errors.

Gameguard gets on my nerves two, but about 2-5mins worth of research was able to fix the problem.

No problems running Aion on Windows 7 x64... several friends have same 32 and 64 bit not 1 reported an issue - also we didnt used any work around? Don't think your problem is windows 7 related...

I'm running Windows 7 RTM 64-bit now (not a beta) and it is working great...but I think comcast is having problems because I can't get to their forums (CoH or Aion's).

Same here. I have been running Windows7 for over half a year now and Windows7 RTM for over a month.

No issues whatsoever with any game. LOTRO. EQ2. CO. Aion.  All run great and without problems.

I only was disconnected once because of Gameguard tonight, but that's most sertainly a disconnect with NCSofts Gameguard servers.

I have played over 6 hours now total in Aion OB with pretty much no issues.

When www met dot , they then stumbled upon Secret Society , wich happened to be a Guild , wich in turn told dot about the net .

I never ran Aion on a beta OS.  Windows 7 RTM is what would be on the store shelves in October.  I just got disconnected from the game, but I think that's because of some network issues between my location and their servers.

If a game has all the features of WoW, its nothing but a WoW clone, but if it lacks any of them, its incomplete.
