just got inot OB and am finding movement incredibly frustrating. They have implemented mouse move (hold left and right mouse buttons not click to move) however when in this mode you can not steer with the mouse!!! I find this pretty frustrating is there a way around it? Left hand is for firing skills period! I spent long enough getting used to that control scheme and do not want to go back to using my left hand for movement. I thought I would ask here as I am not registered at Aion specific forums as yet. |

click to move
or hold lmb and rmb together
I personally use WASD and hold rmb for rotation |

Yes, I noticed the same as the OP, which is pretty annoying. In other words, when trying to hold both buttons now so as to move your character, he doesn't steer like he would when pressing just the RMB. Hopefully it'll get fixed before launch. |

Originally posted by Xasapis I only have a problem with flight ( I hold both mouse buttons down for flight movement ). That seems to give me the best control. its good to know that they will patch it. |

Naa Im talking about mouse move...not click to move. 'Pro gamers' do not click skills and to make sure you press the keys as fast as you possibly can you dont want your fingers on movement buttons. Check out 'mouse move' in other games (again I repeat this is not 'click to move') it allows complete flexibilty in movement all on your mouse hand. 1st generation - click to move 2nd generation - WASD movement (actually pros went with ESDF for two reasons...more bindable keys around movement keys and a 'nipple' on F for easy positioning i.e. natural typing position)) 3rd generation - mouse move (right button mouse look, rigth and left button together move, release left move and mouse look) Put another way "don't teach your grandmother to suck eggs" |
