Ya, this is dumb. If you need a key that's not readily available it's not an "open" beta. If they want to have a closed beta stress test fine, but don't call it open.

Their site isn't clear, it just has all these links telling you to download the client then when you install it you are never prompted to make an account or enter a key. Now I know where they are entered because I have a current active COH/COV (I reactivated it last week hoping NCSoft was going to let in all their current customers) but it's not clear.

I find it strange all their current customers weren't emailed a key, seems to me SOE always lets their current customers in betas, previews, stress test, etc. I also have an active IGN account and use D2D but haven't seen anything about the keys they were supposed to be giving away.

That's what I thought, I downloaded that huge file, which took forever, because the uploads were so slow, and I thought all I had to do was log in, but now I found out I needed a beta key.   By doing that, they're not going to attract new customers, and I didn't see anywhere on their forums to request an open beta key.  It was very very misleading.

I could use a key as well, any help is appreciated!

 I'll take a beta key as well if anyone has an extra.

Why would i make an extra preorder just to give away keys to unknown strangers on the internet, get it yourselves. Lol i have 3 extra keys who knows i might be generous.

If someone had a key sitting around, I'd be really thankful.

As a side note, it's not an 'open' beta if it's not 'open' to the general public.

I'll take a beta key, Kind of pointless for me to preorder at my gamestop considering they ran out of keys.

Would really appreciate a key, if anyone has one to spare.  Between games atm, and really wanted to try this out before I make a decision/commitment towards another game if I can.  Kind of a deal-breaker for the time being if I miss Aion's "open" beta.  Help make me a fan!

The last MMO I decided to buy without knowing how good or bad it would be was Warhammer online.  I bought it day 1 and only played it for about 5 days.  I'd rather not have the same experience with Aion.  I'd like to try the beta before spending 50 dollars on something I don't know if I will like or not.

Like many others I downloaded the client and waited a couple days thinking "open beta"  ok I guess they will give us keys when it is released.  Now I realize I can only get one by pre-order and the keys are all gone.  Wish they had made it more clear on the Aion site.   If anyone has an extra key that would be excellent.    Thank you in advance.

I pre ordered 5 boxes 2 keys went to me and my gf.

i have 3 keys available $8 per keys

first come first serve pm basis.

First of all, $8 is more than the $5 you can put down to get it in store. Second, is selling beta keys even allowed on mmorpg.com?

$5 for pre order and $3 for labor.

Question is how bad do you want it?

And it seems to me people dont want to pre order for the keys.
