"Early birds", sounds like a veiled excuse.  I can understand them doing this to stress test.  Otherwise pretty retarded opening the door for everyone at once.

I was able to load their forums once and it showed 15063 active users O.o. I guess they didn't expect so many people for this OB.

I like that so many people are in the beta -- in a weird way, the fact that the servers are overwhelmed is a good thing. ;)

The fact that it only took 5 minutes to CTD after logging in? Not so great.

got in finally..made a character..tried to do the first quest...but right now youcouldn't BUY a mob, so many people swarming one creature...pretty cool from what I saw of it.

I had no lag issues in the CB.  This OB is ultra laggy at the moment.  Gonna go do yard work to keep myself from getting frustrated.  Maybe later in the day things will cool off.
