still can't find a key! smelly if u have keys left tomorrow when the open beta starts and decide to give them away to new members please remember me :) its such a pain looking for a key, each time you get your hopes up it ends been all given away! an "open" beta suppose to mean its open, this is a closed beta.

Open simply means no longer subject to selection criteria. If they were truly open they'd never be able to ensure any kind of quality of service. It's as open as it can be, once the keys are gone they're gone.

(P.S. I'd still love a key . . . hehe)

About this open-beta key thing.... It feels like its CBT. I dont understand why ppl have to get keys. Is it to limit the player swarm on Aion servers or something like that? I remember when I played on chinese open beta... it was really hard to do quests because of the bots.

While searching for information on ways to obtain a key to get myself into Aion open beta I stumbled across this thread.

Rather than signing up to ask for a key myself, I signed up to say if it wasn't for people like the few in this thread who have been generously distributing keys to players, the quality of the games I find myself playing/researching would likely be far lower. For that I thank you.

So to those of you who have helped players get into the open beta by providing keys or information or even hosting sites, thanks for being there. You're helping to support the testing phases of a game in a genre I would love to see thrive, and I've seen a large amount of games go under due to poor testing. It makes my day to know that there are people who are interested in promoting the positive growth of games and the industry in general. So again, thanks for what you're doing, it may seem small in the long run, but it helps.
