When I bought the first game, the original World Of Warcraft you could have a max of 40 characters. When the Burning Crusade came out the limit was raised to 50, and there it has stayed! I lost maybe 4 or 5 characters to make the adjustments of the new pally and death knight class in WOTLK so to even out how many toons I have so. And I know I will prolly receive alot of negative feedback about this but if we are allowed 50 characters max, then we should be allowed to make 50 characters max! And not have to delete or move any. With the two new playable races, the worgen and the goblins, how many more characters I have played am I going to have to delete? You should raise the 50 limit to either 55, or 60. And I am sure I am not the only one who likes to go back to the starting areas and do the old quests again by starting a new character. The more characters I have the more choices for doing quests I have, even if I already did them once. Time moves on and sometimes I forget. Anyways, wanted to put in my two cents on the character limit. I was really disappointed at the 50 max on BC and no more after. Thanks. |

What the hell do you need that many characters for? Any more than 10 and you've got no life. |

who the hell makes 50 characters? That is beyond stupid in my opinion (even if you play on multiple servers regularly). Originally posted by Cyborg99 |

Perhaps like myself, the Developers just can't possibly imagine anyone needing more than 50 characters, though I think I recall reading about a player who had 50 level 80's but not sure if that was for real or not. You could always buy a 2nd account I suppose (I had 3 back in the day) but if not, I'm thinking the Blizzard forums might be your best place to raise a request like this (since you probably aren't alone)

LOL. I hit the 50 cap last year. I have a hard time letting go. ADDED: I don't know what the cap in Warhammer is, but it's more than 70. ;) |

Its hard to believe you've found that cap for characters. Ya'know you can have my 40 unused slots. |

In the Q&A at blizzcon this year a player asked the devs wether they would add more slots per server, even more so at the new race/class combos and 2 new races, the devs said they realise it could be an issue and will look into it. |

Am I the only one who makes one character? Don't get how people can have the time for ALTS cause if I was to play my one character alot it would take all my free time. You have to go outside and shit you know. |

Anyway, I don't raid anymore, and leveling alts to 15 or 20 takes very litle time. I usually drop my Warhammer characters shortly after hitting Tier 2 (L12). That only takes two or three sessions. |

50 Characters?!?! You sound like one of those obsessive compulsive hermits on documentary TV programs who bag their own feces and bottle their own piss... ...come to think of it - if you've got 50 WoW characters you've probably been doing just that. |
