Stuttering is probably the wrong word, but I couldn't think of a better one for the title. Basically, in Firefox (3.5.2) every time I post or browse to another forum or page the browser locks up for about 5 seconds. It is very irritating and only effects this site - others are perfectly OK. I've tried Chrome and IE and for those browsers there is a big wait for the page to finish loading, but the browser doesn't lock up as such. It's been like this for the last week or so. PC is fully checked for spyware and antivirus and the disk is as defragged with PerfectDisk. Any ideas what it could be? |

It dosn't happen to me on forums but on main website top section where you can select news about latest game sometimes it won't switch game(i just have to wait for auto switch) if i click on it or if it decided to switch new image is going really really slow. But as I said this only happens sometimes. |

I had the same problem before my reinstall it turned out to be an Addon I had for Firefox but also it was effecting IE too. Was almost like things on the site was stuck in loading halting the whole loading process all together. I ended up having to use Safari to use the site for a while until I did a full reinstall that was long over due. If you are willing to try other browsers then maybe Safari will work for you also. I get this kind of shutter effect in Chrome.... The page loads fine but the bottom half of the page is just white, if I scroll or tab out or tab back in it goes away though. It doesn't do this in IE or firefox though.
EDIT: But then again it might just be the way the browser is working with whatever framework the site is using? Not sure what mmorpg.com uses... joomla or? It doesn't happen on every site but it does happen on certain ones www.creative-inn.com |
