The second CG trailer for The Secret World is now available! The new trailer, much like the one before it, features a young, seemingly innocuous girl, this time moving through a park at night.

With only a small black feather found on the ground as warning, the girl is assaulted by a dark raven-like creature. The girl fends the creature off with an explosion of light emanating from a cross-like object. The creature, undeterred, returns for more, and is met with a blast from a shotgun ornamented with dangling crosses, and in true cliffhanger fashion, the trailer ends there. Oh, what a tease!

My best guess is the first two trailers are introducing us to characters from each of the game's newly revealed secret societies. With the first trailer potentially featuring a Dragon character, and this second trailer quite obviously featuring a character belonging to the Templars.

lol ,unless i miss understood they havent made the game they just publish it.some other company made it lol 5 year agopre-planning,3 years of full time work hell aoc wasnt even out yet lol  funcom was still working on aoc gees

Doesnt matter if Funcoms name is on it, I am far away from it. Everything Funcom did was deceptive. From the game to its PR.

I'm going to give Funcom a second chance with this one, but I won't believe everything they tell me this time and my expectations won't that like they were for AoC. I didn't get to experience the AO launch and if FC pull off a hat trick of failed launches I'd say that it will be the end of them as a company.

If they get it right then this will be a really nice change and fill a space in the MMO market. (anyone else tired of dwarves, Orcs 'n' Elves?)

I love the trailers though, they set the mood quite nicely.

 i will try it .for me i dont mix everything together because it suit me. if its good, its good. if its bad, its bad. ,yes funcom released aoc too early ,i do hope they took the time to finish this game .but once they re sure its finish 

FUNCOM please dont touch the game for a good while. lol beside error etc ,but dont do something a la swg/nge (giggle sorry couldnt help my self lol)

No problem with the game as i will simply totally ignore it. Never going to buy anything FC again.

I'm rather worried to see Ellingson every other day on the mainpage of mmorpg.com again once Failcom takes over like they did with AoC.

I'd rather see an in game machinima than a CG trailer. The games are never as good as the trailers.

The man who was in charge of the development of Age of Conan has retired from Funcom a looong time ago.

The man behind the steering wheel now is the guy who made Dreamfall, a superb game! Check out his work, and you'll get excited. 

Remember, different developers = different quality on games. Bitches. 

It may be Funcom, but more specifically, it's from Ragnar Tornquist, who made The Longest Journey and Dreamfall. If he's the driving force for this MMO, I'll definitely give it a shot.

Indeed. People need to chill out.

Unlike major screw up Gaute Godager, who departed the games industry a year ago. Ragnar Tørnquist actually has success games on his record.

If it's Funcom, then I'm out! Even to this day, they STILL haven't fixed Age of Conan.
