It is better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

I read it all, yes. I entered, sure. But i'm also a bit taken aback that the contest isn't giving exactly what it's name implies, and that is a subscirption.

You are getting the actual game, but that's it. To subscribe and get that free month, you still need a CC number on file. It really should be called something other than Subscription Giveaway.

Getting the game would be useless for those who either A) Do not have a CC or B) Do not have the money to play. Sure, it's a free game. If I won, i'd add it to my rather large collection of MMO Box Shelf, but beside that, it would just gather dust. To me, a greater incentive, AND a more true to name contest would give both the game and say 2-3 months free subscription.

THAT, my friends, is a Subscription Giveaway. I'm not boohing free stuff. Far from it. I'm quite happy that they are giving away a few boxes free. And if I win, i'll be happy I got a free game, no doubt there. But the name implies, rather plainly, I may add, that you would be winning a subscription, not just the initial game (Which includes the obligatory free month: i.e. Doesn't count as a subscription).

So...my suggestion is....with contests, be a bit more true to the name...or name the contest according to the actual giveaway.

Cheers!
