So, anyone pre-order the collector's edition? What do you like or hate about it? What I really liked about it was the extra fly time. Once I found out that flight is limited time-wise when not in the abyss, the extra flight time was the deciding factor. This is my first preorder for a MMO. I really like how the game is turning out, especially with patch 1.5. |

Many people likes the extra flight time. But dont be fooled like alot of people have been. So its a 10 sec difference. Most people thought it was 30+40 sec. but its only +10 sec. Not alot, but still makes a difference. |

I didn't preorder the CE, but I did the standard. I like the CE, and I'm definitly upgrading it via NCsoft Store. Mainly because of the free lvl 30 wings, extra flight time, and that necklace. I like to have a box of my games, and GamStop didn't have anymore CE preorders left. I like having a box mainly because NCsoft likes to fuck with people with out them. I'm still waiting for my old GW account Password and Username. I knew I should've kept those 4 year old emails >.>. Playing: Guild Wars and Exteel |

I just went to gamestop to downgrade my preorder of the collectors edition to the regular edition. I took a look at some of the items that I would be getting a figured, it wasn't worth the extra 20$. As far as the in-game items go, you get an extra 10 sec of flight time (regular lvl 30 wings give u +30 flight and the CE item gives u +40), which I can live without. The earrings that give you some extra hp and mp was cool but again, I can live without it. Only 1 dye is lame. I believe that was all the in-game items. I figured I can go without them. If they were to significantly improve my stats, then I'd consider it. The box also comes with an action figure (which I dont give a sh** about), a soundtrack (I like the music, if I want the files I'm sure I can find it for download), and a poster (I dont put posters on the walls in my room). The regular edition comes in a cool steel case, that attracted me more than anything from the CE edition lol. Anyway I've got it for preorder but hopefull ill win MMORPG's Aion giveaway contest and win a copy instead of having to buy anything lol. |

@some other doods The CE edition is only 10$, you save 800k and 20% more xp. Its worth 10 dollars. Hell I payed 40 or 50 bucks for my Fallout 3 add-ons. They weren't all worth it. Only thing I have an issue with the upgrade is that I get no poster. I like posters. Posters are nice. I currently have my MW2 preorder poster on my door, a simpsons poster over the headboard of my bed, a Katy Perry *come on she's hot.* poster over my sidewall of my bed, a Fallout 3 poster over my TV, and I've got a collection of older ones. i thought it was 70$, 20$ more than the regular. Im pretty sure gamestop said it was 69.99$ when I pre-ordered it. |

Pre ordered from best buy and paid the $5 + tax but there was no CE there, also the pre order box has 2 barcodes in the back $49 and ce $69 so when I'll go there on sept. 22nd will ask if I can get the 69 one. Also the pre order box states return to the store you bought it on sept. 1st and I went today they told me come back on 22nd. |

Well buddy Best-Buy is the leader of ripping people off. They rip of max exponentally thats why they're ussually in and out of stores. They've gotten their selling privelages revoked from multiple companies, ussually in the interest of the customer. I never buy any video games from them. 1)They're the wal-mart of techology, 2)Navy Exchange is tax free, and 3)GameStop and EBgames are more trustworthy when you buys and preorder games. I'd rather deal with them than Best-Buy. Best-Buy is a joke, and unfortunately they're going down and Wal-Mart amazingly enough is going farther up and up and up. Wal-Mart plans on beating out Best-Buy in about 3 years. With the plans I've seen they probably will. I'll still never buy from a wal-mart. If you don't care if you have the box(and are ok with the long DL like I did) then you can preorder it from ncsoft's website for 59.99 USD. That's what I did. Plus there's no tax or shipping - just a long download if you use ncsofts updater. Heck I did the bit torrent DL and it still took a couple days. I did it because the ncsoft DLer was moving at around 26kbs. At least the torrent was 40-90 ish average for me. |

I did it just for the wings, the other things are OK, but it is one less thing I have to worry about saving up my K for. |
