No, I agree with you. Alternative characters mean nothing to me. I play with all my characters and focus on all of them (Slight Oxymoron there). Usually means I'm poor a lot of the time, but all my characters have lots of fun stuff!

Sylvari or Norn, maybe Char. Sylvari for the little dudes wielding massive robots, Norn for their shapeshifting and Char for their general badassedness.

I really wanted to play a charr since they announced we would be able to do it in GW2, so charr it will be.
In fact I'm curious to discover the changes in their lore with their new technology too, so as I'm curious : I will try sylvarii cause they are new and I like the style... my former main character in GW were a ranger ;) Playin' at : TF2, Crysis warhead, COH-OF, DOW2, Exteel Waitin' for : AVA, Section 8, Aliens vs Predator, Guild Wars 2, warhammer 40k : ultima segmentum |

Characters I will make when I get the game: Norn - Some melee class, will most likely be my main Charr - The gunner class Asura - Some profession which will have something to do with golems :P Sylvari - Druid (I'm pretty sure there will be druids looking at concept art) Human - Most likely some melee class (I like the knight look of the human in the trailer) |

Godda be a charr, and if so a Charr ranger, iv always loved killing the Charr, they look the coolest and well, they just look kick ass in EOTN :)

Being that I am of Old Norse decent (hail Odin) there is absolutely no doubt I will roll as many Norn variants as possible followed by a charr or two lol. |

I think im gunna try the Sylvari in the beta, but once the game releases im playing as the Charr. After bashing their heads for years I think a change is in order :) |

Sylvari and Asura - one of each for sure. Although this is the first game I'm pretty intrigued by the look of the Charr - they're so great looking. Definitely excited for this game. |
