Yah i remember this i used to use fat way back in the day and you cannot download something bigger then 2gbs. This is not a problem of NCSOFT this is a problem of you probably having a shit ass old PC that for some reason still uses fat32. Google how to convert fat32 to NTFS |

I purchased and loaded it from the Aion website. It took about 2 hours on both the machines I installed it on. The patch 1.5 through bit torrent took longer for me. So far no problems with buying it online. |

I am sort of annoyed that I can not get all of the extra 'Limited' edition stuff due to my purchasing a download but other than that I went through what you did. I tried the Aion client download link with the NcSoft Launcher and forget it. The download speed was so slow for me it would take me 4 days to finish downloading. I then went to Fileplanet and had no trouble. I clicked on my East Coast link and used the Download Manager. I can even do other things when it is downloading. I do most of my downloading through Fileplanet and rarely have I had trouble. Sorry to hear it didnt work out for you. Contact tech support and you may get your monies back. I would try and get mine back but I figure without the box its less packaging and storage I have to do. I did the same with Lineage 2. Good luck. Its a good game. As fror the fat 32 system, yeah that is a problem. My old 333 mhz uses that. NTCS is what you want if I remember right. I have not pratitioned or formated for some time now. I am using mostly external drives now for software instead of partitioning and such. Works great wtih the 2.0 upgraded external speeds for MMOs. Though as expansions and add-ons come out and I get graphic lag I have to go back to my c: drive. A small take away from speed but just barely noticeable. |

Here's a good place to download the client if some of you are looking for good mirrors. I'm not even a member and I downloaded it about 2 hrs or less. |

I downloaded Aion from the launcher just fine, I stopped a few times, and when it started from 0 it quickly shot up to where I left off after a few minutes. |

Gamershell server # 2 for all the downloading you need to do. Best one I've ever connected to, sometimes even better than fileplanet. |

Reading through the thread it seems that there may be a bit more to your issue than initially may seem the case. The suggestion regarding file size limits due to your hard drive being FAT32 is one possible issue, but not something you may want to resolve yourself if you're not very computer savvy.
Another thing you may want to look in to (if it may turn out to be a network issue, some ISPs are like that) is that someone else downloads the required file(s) for you and helps you out on how to place them on your computer. Once there you should be able to install the game, and any future updates to the games should be small enough to not cause any issues.
Good luck. |

Lol m8, i bought Aion via Steam and the download works perfect, is very slow, but we have to understand lots of people are updating at same time, but i can close it, it allways starts from where it was, and not from zero, anyway have you tried torrent? I heard its a good way too, altough i never tried trough that way. |

Bioware did not make Knights of the old Republic 2. |

Wrong. Max file size for FAT32 file system is 4GB. However it is the Internet Explorer having issues with downloading larger files depending on IE version. |

Why your topic said "DO NOT buy Aion via download!" instead of simply said I Need help with Aion via download. BTW the NCsoft launcher does support resuming even you shut down your pc, or restart.

Instead of blaming NCSoft or anyone else for your problem you should first look at the actual cause of the error: you. My advice to you is to step away from the computer and stick to consoles for a few years until you are ready to not be a moron. They can adjust classes all day but they can't help the issue between the keyboard and the chair. |

didnt spend time needed to see if this was mention before to the OP. But the reason it stopped at 2gb was not due to FP but due to the fact that Chrome, or IE won't download more than that. Use firefox.
