I recently bought the box game at a Best Buy in my area, and have been using the trial since I got it.

Quick question, did anyone else get home with the game only to find their product key missing? And did Turbine help out on this or did you have to take it back to the store?

Currently I've been playing on Brandywine as a Dwarven Minstrel. It's ok so far, nothing to spectacular, however the story feels like it's going to be very well touched up. What can I expect if I resub and keep playing this?

And one other question, how's the PVP and guild involvement? It'd be great if someone could just give me a few details.

I'm not sure about the missing product key... I would try Turbine first.

If you resub, yes the story is consistently good.  As you pointed out nothing seems spectacular, but the overall quality and polish of the game is what stands out...  Good combat, crafting, instances... As a ministrel you are the main healer but also dish out some good DPS in war-speech.  Traited warrior skald you are pretty nasty, and when you get your lvl 60 warrior-skald legendary and a legendary weapon with nice damage bonuses, you will blow stuff the hell up.

PvMP is unique and underrated...  PvMP consists of freeps (your lvl 40-60 character that you PVE with) going against creeps (auto-lvl 60 monsters that gain new abilities through killing freeps).  However it's best treated as endgame only for when your freep reaches lvl 60 and has some nice gear.  You can start playing as a monster when your first freep reaches lvl 20.  Monster play could hardly be more noob-unfriendly though... So I'd suggest trying out the PvMP when you reach lvl 60 and then trying out a monster when you get bored.  A ministrel is one of the best classes and is borderline OP due to dishing out high damage while on the move, as well as healing ability.

Not sure what you mean by guild involvement....  There are levelling guilds, raiding guilds...  Being in a good guild will help out a lot.
