That's 12 tusks per day (if you happen to leave yourself AFK all day) on the weekend, 6 on weekdays The turks are used to make a statue, which then can be turned in for a mount. 1 statue needs 3000(!!!!) tusks. And for that you get an unarmed elephant. You need 5 for a gryphon, and 8 (24,000 tusks) for a Mars Rider.
Since you would only get like what, maybe 100 tusks by being logged in all week, that means you have to buy them from other people. So basically the only way to win the prizes is to already be rich, ie, cash shop users. At least the last contest (which I got nothing decent out of with 100 keys) gave a small, if miniscule chance of winning something good. i think the max number would be 78 and not ~100. (Sykion prices will follow)
The goal of this event was not the mounts because noone will spend ~200k/tusk ... Event price for these mounts are 3-4 times higher than the market price. Only fools will buy the tusks... Not item mall users, not normal user, only fools!!! The goal of this event was to raise the overall prices of the mounts, to give a higher ingame value to the gcoins. Why do you think they raised the basic horse (i just can't spell it) price to 70mil? We bought it for 12mil before (it was even 8 mil a month ago if you were lucky) and now the lowest price of it is 26 mil on the market. Elephant price will rise like a rocket once the shock of the patch is over and ppl start to realize that the horse exchange in Bagdad doesn't get them an elephant anymore. Now the elephant is still ~170-190 mil but it will be soon 300 mil due to the basic horse new increased value. Come on... Give me a break! |
