Well, I suppose its good for NCSoft. Personally, I don't care one way or the other but seems some others do so I guess its a feather in their cap. Heh, I found it interesting that some revere them so much they get their own Q&A session. I stopped listening to it though because i found it rather boring. They seem like nice enough folks though. 1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose. |

I dont know one entire guild thats moving from Warcraft to Aion but i do that most of my guild are going to give it a try . Theres a lot of disapointment at the way Blizzard have handled the game in recent years and theres an awful lot of players that want to find something else . |

Now when Ozzy and William Shatner announce the move to Aion I will be impressed. |

I am sure they will "move" to Aion. And than get bored and leave quickly. Unless they play on a server with no other large guilds, they will most likely beat the content quick, and play wow or something else. |

They will not stay for long. They are mostly very good pvers but they pvp about as well as goons so take it for what you will. When they dont own a fortress and cannot do half the pve they will leave. |

I don't play WoW so I don't really understand. How do you get labeled as number 1 in an MMO? Is there somekind of point system in the game or something? Is it just something that people/players agree on? Does Blizzard say something about it? Do they give out some kind of stat numbers? If it doesn't have anything to do with Blizzard how can you accurately say someone is number 1? Is this all they do? I mean they don't have jobs or anything? Are they students? Was the comment that they are paid to play a joke? The fact they were put on a stage and interviewed about it reminds of those articles you read about celebrity Starcraft gamers in Korea I think it was. Seems kind of out there to me and it also seemed odd to me that they looked normal. I guess I was expecting pale white skin and unkempt hair. However it is a game so I guess there is always someway you can"win" it. On a side note...didn't the interviewer keep pronouncing"Aion" wrong? She said "Ion" but I thought it was "A-on". |

#1? In their own mind? I applaud this guild coming to Aion, but I really don't get why the announcement. |

Why would anybody even remotely consider naming a guild #1 because it has "good people" who don't actually succeed at beating PvE/PvP content? Should a casual guild instead be praised as #1 for its unrivaled crafting raids? |

SWG fails so hard that it actually has crafting raids... Deathwatch Bunker go go go!
They're #1 because they have significantly more success than any other guild in the game. These two players might not be "the best", but they're among them. PVE-wise, anyway. I have respect for their past success, but with WoW in the state it's been in since TBC instances got nerfed, everyone who can pay for an account can clear the instances. |
