For me...

Duskwood
Westfall
Shimmering Flats

These are by far my fave zones that I wouldn't want changed, maybe added more content but I love the feel of them and wouldn't want them having aload of lava down them or whatever.

...Wetlands.

Standing in a rainy storm in that harbor or doing quests while it rains is one of the best things I saw in Wow.

The rain effect was always the best part in WOW.

I guess the new territories demand too much for greater weather effects.

I DEMAND MORE rain :))))

So I imagine that somewhere in the second half of 2010 I finally get the addon, log on, go to a zone, and see it beeing exactly the way it was before. And then I should like that? Nope, not really. I've seen the zones so often, the more gets changed the better.

Yes it does get 100% destroyed, Grom rebuilds it and the layout is all different too.

I'm not the same. No idea who you are or who this mwaji is. Registered this account back 5 years ago, wanted to register these days to write a comment to a topic, and that way noticed I already got an account with that adress.

I accept your excuse. oO

There isn't one zone that I wouldn't want changed. I'm an oldschool player and have near eight characters at or above 70. I've ran these zones too many time and welcome a leveling change for my worgan and goblin.

The only thing I wouldn't want Blizzard to change is the level 60 version of BRD since new players still run that around 55 before they leave for outlands. The other 60 dungeons they might as well remake into level 85 versions since they are abandoned due to TBC.

I think this expansion is the closest thing we will ever get to a WoW 2. I can see even a solid graphics update coming right after to keep WoWs subs high.

Playing: WoW, EvE

Interested in: TOR, ER, GW2, WoD, Dust514

I want all the zones improved.

Elwynn Forest

Un'goro

Ashenvale

Azshara (my favorite zone). Easily the most beautiful zone Blizzard have ever created. Unfortunately I'm sure it will be changed 100% for obvious reasons.

I can't think of any of the old zones I wouldn't want to be changed. In order for me to become interested enough to get back into the game for any length of time, a LOT of the old game would need to be redone.

Current: Ryzom, DFO
Played: WoW, CoV, SWG, EVE, LotRO, AoC, VG, CO
Tried: Lineage2, Dofus, WAR, EQ2, CoS, FE
Future: Mortal Online, Earthrise, APB

My favourite zones to be affected by a Cataclysm would be, Blizzard headquarters and Ghostcrawler's Neighbourhood.

The ones not to, Teldrassil Area and Stranglethorn Valley, my favourite area

Playing: Aion, World of Warcraft, Dragon Age Origins
Waiting for: Star Wars: The Old Republic, Mass Effect 2, Final Fantasy XIV

Silverpine. This was the zone that hooked me on the game, especially at night.

No. I'm so sick of all of those zones, I hope they all get obliterated. Wetlands, BAM. Shimmering Flats, BAM. Silverpine, BAM. Azshara, BAM. Elwynn Forest, BAM. Westfall, BAM. Smash them all, Blizz. Fill them with lava and giant seething pits and huge hissing crevices, and I will love you for it.

Orgrimmar (what happens to RFC?)

Shimmering Flats (one of the best leveling zones in the game)

Durotar

Obviously, I am not happy about the changes.

Ahh that reminds me of my noob days :) I always loved that zone. Honestly I'd like to see everything changed except for Silverpine,Tirisfal glades,Westfall and possibly Hillsbrad Foothills. I'm still looking forward to the changes regardless :)

Dont worry, apparently only some zones will be altered.

The terrain is not guaranteed to change in every zone, many zones are likely going to stay the same terrain-wise but the questing will get the clean up.
