i tried to play it, and seems the servers are down. even last night on the 23rd around 8pm or so. downloading this game was completely pointless. 3.4ghz Phenom II X4 965, 8GB PC12800 DDR3 GSKILL, EVGA 285 GTX 1GB, 640GB HD SATA II, ThermalTake 850Watt PSU. MSI NF980-G65 TRI-SLI MOBO. |

I played it late last night and for a few hours today with no issues. I think I read that the open beta ends tomorrow morning around 10am EST. Current: Ryzom, DFO |

I played it for about 3 hours last night without a single problem. Seems pretty good to me....great customization...as expected. Combat is fun imo. Nothing especially groundbreaking tho....but at least u can block and attack while moving. None of the...stand still..shoot ...move...repeat. Looks pretty sweet to me. I only got just outside the newbie zone...bought some upgrades...u get quite a few during training. Bought another power..and got my travel power...flying. Which is great because my toon has wings. The flying is much better than COX....u can actually get somewhere fast and not hover at 1 mile an hour until you level up enough for it to gradually seem like you are actually moving. So far it has jumped from a newbie area to and loadscreen transition. You are thanked for stopping the Qular invasion and giving an option to travel to one of 2 areas..snowy Canada or some desert. click on helicopter and load screen. I am not ready to buy until I am sure there are going to be more wide open area later on..like WOW has or even COX. I do not want another game with too many invisible walls and multi instances..I already have AoC. If it does not change much then I can always wait for DCUO. hic!...CAW! |
