Looks good. Blizzard has always had good animators, not sure what happend on the human walk though, think they let the interns animate that one.

Beautiful, to me. Hopefully they will also redo the male human running animation. And perhaps all old race.

Personally, I finally found a race that will truly looks good as a DK  :), but will also play the starting area just to see the story.

So incoming: , wolverine, logan, longnails, toothfang, blacklongnails, sharpears, realshardears, etc etc.....  :D

Definitely, but im not gona reroll immediatly. Just like till now i dont even have a DK  yet.  If only Blizz can forget about the lore and bring Worgen to horde, that will be perfect...

Great. When you were expecting a simple model switch and a cloud of smoke on top of it, this is very welcome.

It would be even greater if they applied this to druid shapeshifting at a later stage.

I just find it funny that people find that animation epic... you make it sound like the rest of the animation in the game is lame and old to get excited over this... it looks fine though *shrug*

Have to agree, unfortunately. At least for the males, the faces are mostly minor variations on the "stupid peasant" look.

^Agreed... what about the way humans run? It looks like they got shit in their pants. Very, very, very nice indeed.

 I always thought Horde races have much better animations than Alliance races.

The animation is well done, like about everything about WoW.

Still, it's weird to see how blizzard hypes such tiny things so much. I mean it's just one short animation, of which there are thousands of in every game, and the people cheer at it as if it would be something completly new and incredible.

Not that I want to take the fun away, as said, the animation is surely well done. But... it's not what I'd call "epic" or even "special", but just one of thousands of small things that are well done and should be well done. Everything less would be a disappointment.

I guess i am just too much of a tech freak to see beyond what you guys see.There is no cool transformation there,texture change on the two arms then a large flame animation then a 100% change in model is all they did.It would be a cool idea if the engine had any balls and could actually give a cinematic changeover but nope,settle for a flame/flash then model change.

You guys also realize yet another game has made a huge transformation,witch once again beckons the call to Blizzard to step up and give the fan base back what they deserve.The fans of Blizzard have made them the richest developer out there and yet they get so little in return.

Take a look at the new Entropia universe who are incoporating the CRY2 engine into their game,a 200% improvement.Now i am not here to say Utopia is a good game it is most deff garbage,my point is that if a small time developer can give their fans that kind of change over why can't Blizzard.

I think i would quit praising Blizzard for being so cheap and showing no advancement on their tech for MANY years,and start to get after them to step up to the plate,ALL the other developers are leaving Blizzard in the dust.The ONLY reason Blizzard is on top is because of YOU the subscribers,start demanding more for your money,i do and always will.It's not like Blizzard can't afford to give you the paying customer more ,so geesh quit being passive and get after Blizzard.

You can only be in human form out of combat, why you would want to be is another thing. Worgen form all the way.

Give it a couple weeks after release. That whole RIGHT ARM! .... LEFT ARM!.... POOF!! bit will get old.

see RED, blizzard have advanced way beyong vanillia wow in their Tech, some unquie to blizzard/wow.

• Real time projected shadows (added in Wotlk)
• Weather effects (added in vanillia wow)
• Cross server battlegrounds (added in vanillia wow)
• Hi-res textures on northrend gear ( added in Wotlk)
• Huge increase in draw distance (added in Wotlk)
• DX9 style reflective water (in cataclysm)
• Cross server instances\LFG (coming in 3.3)
• Phasing, landscape phasing (in cataclysm)
• Achievement tracking (added in Wotlk)
• Duel spec system
• and im sure lots that 'Ive missed

All the above require new tech to be developed, changes to the game engine and servers.

But lets keep this on topic.

They should make movement in worgen form different, maybe walking with all 4 hands/feet making it more realistic and cool imo.

I meant playing as the Wolf was cool, animation was nothing special but blizzard are good at hyping up games :D

and since when has graphics matterd that mutch in an mmorpg, WoW looks pretty nice despite the Old engine it uses.
