i posted this because i found it, and because there's a lot of bad attitude going down on those forums now. i've received more than my fair share of the badness, (i am a critic where necessary, and honesty gets you no friends sometimes) so yes i have a problem with that forum from the flack i've gotten there recently. this is an example of how wrong it's getting down there, and whatever else you want to say -

I think the OP was wrong in even IMPLYING this was a threat. Please read it a little bit better and it can easily be seen that she was saying be glad that the FE-Ban Boys (aka I'm assuming the people that banned fapfapfap) didn't post his home address. Nothing saying that that person will post it or even thinking about it. I think more or less its safe to say that the person he/she was replying to was being a pain (in that person's perspective). If you look at the poster's title and amount of posts, you can tell that he/she also posts pretty infrequently, not a representative of FE staff or anything. The last sentence implies that he/she found the person's address maybe just to make him feel vulnerable. What 1 will do with it is beyond me, but its more likely than not an empty threat if it were to even be perceived as any threat at all.

naw, it looked to me like the poster was threatening. i checked the profiles concerned and couldn't see any addresses myself anyway. if it wasn't on the profile, then it must have been that they were stalking and threatening that person. that's getting into pretty serious stuff territory.

@ Kallista: Have you reported this guy to the admins? Such atrocitys should be "rewarded" with immediate ban.

no, i wasn't able to report anything...i've already been temp-banned from that forum for daring to post criticism on the combat >.<

that i got banned makes me look bad i know >.< but i never did anything bad there, posted why i disliked the combat, and then anything i said got me 3 zillion fanbois playing tagteam and following me around flaming me, and then BAM! admin banned ME. looks like they don't ban the fanbois. take a look for yourselves at some old threads there, you'll see what goes on in that forum. i don't trust FE admin to do anything good, with how they treated my account. i hate corruption/misuse of power. very uncool.

this is an independent forum full of gamers same as me, and i thought that people here would understand, and maybe have seen this sort of thing before.

If a moderator posted that, it'd be a little different. I had to squint to read it but I didn't see any indication that the person was a mod.

In short, the guy was an idiot, every forum has them, and Fallen Earth is no different. If you have a problem with it, report him and see if he gets suspended or banned.

that's the thing, i don't think he would get banned, just from all the unusual moderating that's been going down in that forum past few days. the mods there are letting some real flaming go completely unaddressed where the flamer is a fanboi, and are banning/moderating people who are posting (reasonable, well-written and non-flamey) criticisms of the game. it's looking too selective in a really bad way.

The ss I see has some guy being a tit, and someother guy saying, 'you're lucky they didn't post your address while banning you', or words to that effect. The guy posting the threat has 8 posts? Am I not getting it or what, is this an IQ test am I really that thick?

I read the thread and the link you posted, I failed to see what you're on about which is why I asked if I was missing something.

You didn't add any further info so I guess my sumation was accurate in which case it just sounds like you have an agenda. You got banned from their forum, so you trawled through them to find posts which best fit your arguement, unfortunately for you, in this case that ss in the op was weaksauce and made you look like a whiney little girl.

there's been some bad flaming and fanboi tagteaming going on down there. yes i'm not happy they choose to ban me and not the ones doing the flaming. that goes without saying. the only question left to ask yourself, is do you think that stuff is ok? you know, threats and bullying crap that goes unmoderated. i don't.

no no, it was a definitely intended as a threat. there was no info on the profile about addresses. read the screenied post again. i actually think the poster thought he was talking to me, as he mentioned "hey sweetheart back after yesterday's ban" or something. pretty sure i was the only one to get banned yesterday. and i'm a female and obviously wouldn't want my address handed out. that's why i'm so disturbed by the threat he gave.

The Combat system is a bit choppy, and still lvls are everything is this game. just FpS.
