My Main was a Level 40 Squig Herder using "Lots of Arrers" long ago when it did low damage but was no cooldown. Now they put a 8 sec cooldown on the main skill of my character. I was happy with the low damage and the extra possibilitiy to use it as small AOE. i read in patch 1.3 they bugged "LOA" and gave it to much damage, now they tuned it doen 50% and put a 8 sec cooldown on it.
whats this character worth now ? 8 seconds cooldown on the main skill for my build ???? i am dead faster than this cooldown resets...
Those developers still make one mistake after another, its still a pain to read the patch notes. Reading patch notes should be fun and motivating. Warhammer patch notes are still and always frustrating. Nerf here Nerf there without having respect for the player that worked hard on his char to reach some decent levels.... 7 month no WH and still i am not comming back to this game until they stop ruining the classes .......

Regardless of the fact that squig herders are still very good. The game was at the time I played, a scenario grind that tried to pass itself off as an RvR game that had consistent fun non-zerg keep sieges. The classes were also insanely unbalanced for a game that uses a "mirror" class system. Overall bust of a game with all the potential in the world.

It's no longer a scenario grind. Most of the action is in the RvR lakes. You are always going to have zergs...I don't know why common sense didn't kick in if they ever really said there was not going to be zergs...
The classes are insanely imbalanced or you just don't want to take the time to learn your class, the other classes, and look for gear that will enhance your play style?
Seriously...I have played with people who go for the weakest class just so they can show it's not underpowered...and they succeed.
And how is it any more unbalanced than WoW or Age of Conan or any other AAA MMO that has PvP/RvR? You get in a good group and you will steamroll no matter how underpowered your class is. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Seriously, I tried the 10 day comeback a couple weeks ago and uninstalled the game just a couple hours later. Scenarios didn't pop and RvR lakes were just as empty. You were lucky if there was maybe one whole little zerg going on somewhere. The point is. People have grown tired of the whole game. Grown tired of Mythic's inability to fix the game. There are more people quiting every day, then coming back and sticking around. So please. Don't make all kinds of Roses and Sunshine statements. While it's clearly not the case! When www met dot , they then stumbled upon Secret Society , wich happened to be a Guild , wich in turn told dot about the net . |

Since the fuck when was AOC considered AAA?

Would it help to call it "Balance here, Balance there without making a new "I Win" button in it's place? I would rather them not to try to placate the people who took a power that was overwhelming by 'nerfing' that one, and giving them a new exploit in its place.
It's like the old saying;
"Rock needs a Nerf, Paper is Working as Designed."

I never said it was roses and sunshine...it's just not as bad as everyone tries to make it out to be.
When you played...was it during primetime on a med/med server or high/high server? Even in T1 on badlands there is at least half a warband running around during the off hours. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

I decided not to resub after my 10 days last week too, when I left in March they used to be consent action going on in T1 Norlord when I came back they was nothing apart from a few people flipping BO every now and then even during prime time they was barely more than a group each side fighting. |

But you believe your blanket Doom and Gloom statements are more accurate? Which server did you play on when you went back? What time of day did you play? Sorry, WAR isn't perfect by any means, but many of the cries of the butthurt aren't exactly accurate anymore. EDIT: To the OP, as opposed to launch-time, the Squig Herder is now one of the most effective classes on Destro side. |

But you won't hear me complaining - that's the way the game is and that's what makes it interesting for me. Choose your battles and all that. Imo the OP is just whiney because he got used to playing his SH one way and now he's forced to change his tacs a bit... well if that's what he considers a valid reason to quit the game then I really can't help him and I sincerely doubt anyone or any game or any particular area of life for that matter will be able to conform to his standards. Maybe he should just quit. I like all my characters and never have a problem finding a fight somewhere. I just need to get off my ass and actually do something while I wait for a scen - like run around with an ORvR group or something. If he's doing the WoW thing and is waiting for a scen by standing in a WC, tapping his foot impatiently and completely ignoring the open RvR just on the other side of that hill (because he wants his scenario NOW) then.. of course he's not having any fun and never will. Sheesh. /shrug

Someone forget their medication...? Some people like playing WAR. Some people don't. One thing we can probably all agree on - becoming obsessed with a game - losing all objectivity and rational thought - is a bad thing. |

Regardless of the fact that squig herders are still very good. I am pretty sure that there is a minimum requirement to be considered a "community" and you guys are dangerously getting close to losing "community" status, and being demoted to a club. Thats right, you only need 2 people to be a club. Darkfall News |

Neither is it as good as you want to make us believe it is. Oh, and now the problem is that the guy didn't play on the correct server at the correct time. Such fanboy mentality. It's not as bad as people say it is.... it is balanced, learn to play... all MMO have this problem... we don't need you please stay away... You make me sick. --------------------------------------------------------- |
