Aion: The Tower of Eternity has officially gone gold, according to an announcement made by NCsoft today. For those who don't know, a game going gold means it is ready to have the game discs duplicated and shipped to retailers. Basically, it's "done". Now we play the waiting game, as you'll have to wait until September 22nd, 2009 to play the full live version. For those of you who have participated in the beta test, how will you be biding your time until the game launches, or until Open Beta hits? Let us know in the comments! Michael "MikeB" Bitton |

I didn't pre-order so no beta but I'm in the contest. I'll bide my time playing Gates of Andaron if the bugs and glitches don't take it over. One man's guts are another man's glory. I actually didn't expect to be Black... |

While this is great news, but i can't help but wonder why they haven't fixed small stuff like text overlapping each other or too long that it goes out of the text box etc. I understand those are minor things but still. Also, are we going to test 1.5 before the game launches? |

I will spend my time playing FFX, reading and twiddling my thumbs. Hopefully with the patch 1.5 things will improve. I can understand the question about that aspect of things. Believe you me, I am trying not to let that worry me personally. Blah! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

well I had always said this past weekend was to be my last until launch OB or more CB's or not.
It time to work myself into a fervour and become a jibbering wreck just awaiting the 22nd (yeah euro player) |

Honestly, I would say twiddling my thumbs, but these days I barely have time to sleep between classes, planning a vacation, and opening my business. |

Yay Aion, it's about time. I'm getting tired of being told when I can and can't play Aion. I don't think I'll even play the open beta. I'm ready , bring it on! I'll be playing Eve Online until the 26th when my sub runs out. Heading to Vegas on the 27th to play different kinds of games :) |

I'm ready to play the game but through the beta this past weekend I experienced horrible lag like issues and if it goes live with that problem they can count me out. |

Gonna take some long holidays, once it's released, I'll be unstressed, pumped to start my race to level 50. Hope they can guarantee 100% that the version we'll be seeing at release is 1.5, so many good changes in it. |

It's a shame they are DELAYING the actual launch so much. I will most likely pass the OB since the quest-grinding gets really dull after you do it multiple times in row... |

Trying is the first step to failure, thus it is better not to try, and just do |

I did OB 5/6 & sure the game has its bug's, glitches, minor issues its still pretty solid. I got up to lvl 15 chanter and wasnt plagued with lag or login issues as others have griped about but i did find some render issues in the hill sides and small text typos but nothing that cant be fixed in a quick patch. When the Box ships and the North America Launch happens im sure there will be some updates to do out of the box just to get the CD version up to speed with the latest bug fix's that were submitted in OB 6. And like all games i give them 3 months to fix the major bugs since that seems to be the way things work ... Launch (grip for 3 months) Big patch... and all honky dory.
Till that day in september ill be on facebook gambling away my bordom. Happy days Elite_Wolf --- (15 chanter Siel server in beta) |

Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft' might win, by fearing to attempt |

Very excited for this to launch. September 22nd can't come soon enough. I'll likely play WoW until then, just for something to do. |

I forgot about the ability to build your character early. My dilemma is Elyos or Asmodean. Which to choose? Each race has it's own stregnths and weaknesses, and the design of them are very well made. As to the one who spends his time playing WoW, you are hearby dubbed a traitor to the Tower of Eternity(lol). |
