So, the title almost explains it all :D first off, it has to be free, i don't have money to spend on games xD and uhm...no korean grinding game, i don't care if I have to work to get to end game but grinding for years, no thanks :D I'm more into PVP so a pure PVE game wouldn't fit me either I've been playing Perfect World for the past months but the time it takes to lvl up is just incredible and I didn't like the community at all...most of them were freaks, too much drama, marriages, talking about ingame love xD so i started playing WYD ( With Your Destiny) for the past days well that game wouldn't be that bad if the cash shop woudn't allow people to reach everything in a month which would take me years D:
EDIT: it almost seemed like WYD didn't have any english people at all, most of them were brasilian, you know them right? example: "BR PLIX HALPPP MONIIIZ??? " or other languages i don't understand :P so there should be people i can talk with xD
that brings another point, a balanced cash shop, i know they have to make somehow some money but it shouldn't make the cash shop users gods -.-
well...surprise me :P

Well I don't mind that cash shop is a little unbalanced as long as there's a legal way to get in-game cash. EDIT: As long there is a good PvP system since the beginning the grind might not be that bad. |

You have an oxymoron here... F2P and not a grind? Or even A mmo and NOT a grind? Just so you know, grinding means doing the same thing over and over to achieve a goal. All mmos are like that. WoW is a quest grinder(and then BG or instance grinder), Warhammer online is a scenario grinder, etc... What you mean is probably LONG TERM grinding, like Ragnarok online which takes you at least 6 months of playing 20 hours a week to get to maximum level on the official servers. Perfect world/Runes of magic are you best bets. Those are the "Best" wow rip-offs there is right now. Even the, the cash shop will be an issue for you. Also, there is NO F2P that has a cash shop that doesn't affect gameplay other than the old Darkages by nexon/KRU (which offers clothes, and some scrolls that save you in-game money if you die). So a F2P MMORPG that isn't a long-term grind, with balanced cash shop does not exist. F2P + balanced cash shop won't happen either. Why would you pay 20$ to receive nothing?

Runes of Magic or Perfect World are the best choice out there. One thing I find funny is how people call Perfect World a WoW ripp-off even though PW is almost 5 years old too. Hell when it lauched it had Player Housing and Guild Housing. You used a builder tool similar to the ones RTS games have to make your House/Guild Hall. I still dont understand why they pulled all of these out when they went international. |

Atlantica online had the least grind i experienced until i hit the high lvls, but all games get grindy at that point so meh. I owuld really suggest this game, the combat is the best and the pvp is actually thinking and not just button smashing. |

I agree wit the dude who said Atlantica. It has really good graphics and a good community. Also try looking into Rohan: Bloodfeud. Its pretty good, though i dunno about the cash shop I always stay away from those.

I would suggest Team Fortress 2 or Call of Duty 4. |
