If this is true, this will be the beginning of the end of WoW.
Thank god, thank god, it's finally come. |

Guys this is not a WOW bash. I just think it's just time to move on. I can only see me enjoying a few things if this is true and most of it involves the animation: 1) Worgen running or whatever they do when they attack. 2) Gnomes - I don't know summoning robots 3) Maybe some fights in STV. 4) I was there at Vanilla I just don't seem to care anymore, and I sure don't want to run dungeons that I ran 5 years ago in 40 man.....no matter how they have changed for lvl 85. 5)You want to make things crazy blizz make a sword anyone can have, but only 1, not one per server only 1 for a special player. |

ROFL, I will believe this news only when it officially has been posted by Blizzard!

Ok... So why in Hell will anyone play Horde in next expansion? RPG-Lore wise you get an evil murderer as leader, and you lose one of the most likeable NPCs in the game. You get the least played race, the amount of players that will play Goblins will at best be the same as the ones that plays Gnomes with non-cute faces. My guess is that it will be A LOT less simply because seeing goblins ain´t exactly something new goblins are everywhere on horde side and yeah they are annoying even as NPCs. You will get the least played Race-Class combo, Orc-Mage. Orcs have bonus on pets, yet it is the least common Warlock race. Reason? Looks, simply as that. And that is the reason why adding new classes to the least played races such as Trolls, Gnomes, Dwarfs Taurens will not help much. Trolls have plenty of choises, class-wise yet few plays them.
The most important thing that has been demanded for five years isn´t there. A reason to play the smaller faction on realms with worse than 2:1 faction imbalance. Over the years we have got more an more realms where on side is totally dominating a realm with plenty of players for guilds to recruit, instances etc and a good economy, while the other side is dying. Even PvE realms suffer from this seeing how EU-Silvermoon went from 3:1 to 18:1 Alliance / Horde and that on a realm where pvp isn´t a matter. http://www.warcraftrealms.com/activity.php?serverid=349 |

Sorry my good man, that show I know well. You see that first picture is of me..Dungoen Master (DM) and I'm not a Dwarf, I'm the maker of worlds. I have no race, I am only one. The next picture is of a Paladin not a hunter. …..it’s a guideline, not a rule, as players we must remember: “It’s a Game”. |

actually he was a Cavallier not a paladin. HUGE difference in 1st edition which the cartoon was VERY VERY loosely based off. :P -A low post count doesn't always mean a dummy account for flaming or fanboi posting, sometimes it just means you don't shoot your mouth off randomly to see the numbers under your name increase........or you only really post after the 2nd case of beer |

does anyone not remember all the speculation that went on for WoW's first expansion before any details were out for BC? A lot of this sounds very reminiscent to those rumors. So I hardly doubt this is true. There probably is some truth in a couple details, but I wouldn't get your hopes up with all those changes. |

This all just sounds like WoW is going downhill to me. Essentially what it appears is that it's just the B-team (which now is obviously running WoW, while the A-team has moved on to their new MMO) is just rehashing old content because they're not good or creative enough to do something new. Bring it on down now. |

If they bastardize and mix the classes much more, it won't matter what race/prof you roll... end game will be the same. Changes to 'vanilla wow'/old world are needed. I can't wait.

Oddly I may try WoW again if these changes go through. Just for one fact that they state that flying mounts would be enabled in Azeroth. Inconsistencies in a game bug me and not being able to use a flying mount in the main parts of the game was a sore spot to me. |

Some of this I'd love to see make it into the next expansion but most of it wont. Giving some of the races different classes is pushing it and some of them are far fetched like the Orc Mage. I do however like the old world changes and I'd love to see them become implemented. Considering this is just a rumor though I doubt any of its actually going to make it, things always change though so who knows we might have some of this. |

Best to ignore the Lore nuts.
Bottom line WOW is not LOTRO, LOTRO can never change, the story has been told and your stuck with it, WOW on the other hand can change and change it will. |

Through many sources I have, I can confirm many parts of this post. I will be writing an article soon as an "unofficial" report. |

Heh, give me a half-naked nightelf, with big silicone boobies ofcourse that is a warlock who got a succubus, which also should have big silicone boobies. The lore is vaguely existent in Warcraft and under a constant edit-button, so why not go nuts? |

Lore no longer exists in WoW.... be prepared to see Arthas at least two more times before WoW dies... they just keep recycling armour, content, bosses... ack. "time is money friend" .... my goblin paladin will say while he's flying around in his warship gyrocopter with a mounted star cannon... warping between Azeroth and Argus. do you hear that... it's fantasy rolling in its grave. Some of this sounds really cool, some not so much. I actually really like the "recycling" of old instances. Why? Because they're never used as intended anymore. When's the last time you've seen a large raid of 58-63's raiding Rag or Onyx for fun? Never happens. Now people do it with a couple 80's usually just to get the achievement. This'll be great because people who may have joined post BC will be able to go through these classic raids and (hopefully) have a good time in them. I know when I used to play the game, I was pissed because I could never find enough people within reasonable level range of the dungeons that wanted to go raid BWL or BRD just to experience it. |

Maybe I am a lore nut... well I know I am... And I agree that blizz can tweak the lore whenever they want since they are in an ever changing world... but it makes anything you learn in the past games completely pointless. Tauren didnt believe in the gods.... which sure that can change... but paladins are, you know, good guys. They should have come out with a evil version of the paladin.
As for goblins; all through the past games the goblins are neutral, and selling to both sides... that is what they do. Now they are on the horde side? I wanted to come back to WoW, and was thinking about it with some of their other upcoming changes, but I really dont like the direction they seem to be going, but hey, that is just me. Have fin everyone, hope it all turns out well. |

It's easy to see the direction they are going, that are trying to stir a stale and boring game a bit, and since the main developers of this game have been repositioned, Blizzards B team is thinking about changes that they think will be good without any regards for the game lore.
I can almost bet that inside Blizzard the original developers of WoW are trying to show this B team that some things are wrong, but the fact is that they have other things in hand now and wow is just the cash cow for now, so, as long as the money keeps rolling that will be allowed to change whatever they want.... since i saw harley davidsons in ironforge nothing surprises me any longer |

Tauren do believe in gods, the earth mother and the moon god to be exact. That is where they draw their druidic powers from. And if there is a moon god, there must be one of the sun, aka the light. Which makes the paladin and priest possible. Its even spoken of in a quest recently added. You get a quest from an npc in Dalaran to take a shield back to a tauren in Thunder Bluff. There, you can listen in on a conversation between her and another tauren. They speak about the existence of the moon god, but question about the sun. And Goblins on the horde side makes perfect sense. They fought for them before, and its been said that if they were given a chance, they'd love to fight for the horde, since the Alliance are rather.... strict about how their way of fighting. Besides, gnomes and goblins on the same faction would cause a bit of a stirr. As for the Dwarven Shamans, no its not against lore. There is a sect of dwarves (remember, THERE ARE DIFFERENT GROUPS OF THEM!!) that practices shamanism. No reason why some of them can't come over to azeroth. |
