Where do I get a client? (Non Pirated)

Or are you saying the client is still for sale but there is no sub?

You go to the site , download client for free , create account (no CC details needed) , and play ...

And there is no item shop or any limit in game (for now ...and probably for good part of next year)

Well that comes as no surprize. Go with a company like Acclaim to publish your game...was only a matter of time. Acclaim did nothing to help this title along right off the start. They knew it would become another of their F2P games in time. I am sure it won't be long before Acclaim starts nerfing the game so they can get their cash shop going.

Fame level is not exp , or player level.

It limits what quests you can do. And its caps at 10.

Basically  it  says  = all limitations are off

Just don't give them your credit card number and expect not to have billing issues down the road.

FYI the game sucks.

The Game itself is pretty good, glad to see its free now :-)

Ok wait, so is the fame lvl been removed making the entire game accessible? if its still there thats the same thing they had like months ago.

I really like the combat in this game. Aiming is so much easier than tab targeting.

i'd play, however windows 7 and gameguard have some issues and wont let me launch. i'm not gonna downgrade either just because of gameguard.

even its free i wont play it. Acclaim is a shitty company and i have no desire to have any game with their name on it, on my desktop. Terrible company, that i cant believe is still alive and doing business.

Who cares the game is total utter garbage anyway. Total waste of anyones time. Another typically overhyped piece of crap like Aion and so other many mmorpg's/games.

Exactly how I feel. Been in closed beta for 2 weeks, open beta tommorow, then headstart and release. I won't have any time for another mmo for like 2 months. I might play this just to not get burnt out though.

Honestly I enjoyed Spellborn, but something about how it was "different" for lack of better words, always bothered me about it.

Maybe I just prefer traditional mmo's or something =/

sighs....this happens all the time, Spellborn doesnt have a virus, its just the damn anti-virus thinking its a virus but it isnt...ive been through Spellborn forums with this topic soo many times, its not a virus PERIOD...its just your anti-virus thinking so

Its a different company, they bought the name and logo from the old company you remember. The current MMO publisher is called Acclaim Games, where as the old console game developer was called Acclaim Entertainment. Back in 2004 Acclaim Entertainment filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, then a year later in 2005 the name was bought.

in case you didnt know, the cap has been increased to 50 for f2p recently

Hey good luck with Champions online. Just wait for NDA to drop today. And you will see Spellborn is perhaps a better choice

Spellborn didn't just fail because of lack of advertising and acclaim, although that had a big part to play.  it also failed because many people got bored with it fast, including myself, due to it's lack of depth and things to do.
