hey guys, im just posting this thread to see if anyone knows of a game where it is mainly based around instances. for example, a game where you team up with other online players and fight through dungeons in order to get exp and better items. if anyone knows of a game where it uses alot of instances in order to train as i feel they make it more fun and interesting. oh yeah i almost forgot...it has to be free to play. poo tash! |

Dungeons & Dragons Online: Unlimited is now out and f2p, it features tons of instanced dungeons... I think that's your best bet. Also, yeh... playing the korean Hellgate: London online... though it's only free until act 3... then ya gotta buy some card for like $10... no monthly fee for guild wars though I never liked that game. Haven't played dungeon runners, but that might be something you would be interested in, f2p. Finally, prisontale 2 looks alright ;P |

Guild wars is a good start, EVERYTHING is instanced. If you can't find players to play with, you can fill your party with henchmens (AI controlled characters) and Heroes (AI controller party members that you can equip/set skills like in RPGS). Dungeon Runners is also pretty good for that, although most of it can be soloed. Other than that, good games with instances will require you to pay, because instancing requires additional servers, one of the reasons why F2P games rarely have that. |
