I know for assasins this is the case, not sure about other classes. Crit/Damage rate increases or summit :)

If I remember correctly, certain things are effected depending on what direction you're moving and positionally. However, what you're liking seeing is the obnoxious "lets run in concentric circles until someone dies" idiots that plague every PvP game. It's obnoxiousness is matched only by bunnyhopping.

its normal to see meele class's running in circles around their target. Its because of the "movements benefits":

- moving forward = increase attack and reduce defense

- moving backward = increase defense and reduce attack

- moving left or right = increase dodge (the most used one)

U will see some arrows around the foot's of ur char showing what movement benifits are active.

And at least sin have some skills to use on the enemys backs.

That is some very interesting info, I didnt know that they had that kind of game mechanic in Aion.

I don't know if thats a good mechanic though since your going to have people run around bunny hopping in circles like idiots. haha :-)

I think its alot better on pve, i hated the fact in wow you could never circle the mob it was like a magnet always following. Where as with Aion you can be more tactical and take on bigger foes, if you can move in the right direction at the right time.

Hitting on the enemy's back increases your chance of crit for every physical hit/skill.

Let them try it - if their using their forward positional they will be getting hit harder then they are hitting -even with the dmg bonus they have.

If they are using the side strafes, they are nerfing their damage for defense.
