8/6 Conference Call: Guest speaker, Gary Whiting himself! Gary admits that he’s working against a deadline of mid-next week. He mentions that once he’s finished with CME this week, he can easily raise a few million for MMOGULS too. Gary is almost positive he has it covered, despite the negative press (he's a wizzard, isnt he?).   Gary says "Stick with this for another 30 days and things will explode"  (oh, it will explode all right)

7/28 conference call:  They spoke about a version release of their most anticipated game (Stargate Battles). Poor ass quality of the recording.

7/21 Conference Call: Members of MMOGULS that ‘prepay’ are getting 1,800 shares in CME (no connection to CME, eh?)  There was an update on Frankie & Girlfriend racing. Excited to get international exposure for MMOGULS (wait, didn’t CME sponsor them? Now MMOGULS takes advantage of that!) They are awaiting the SGB release in the fall !

7/14/09 Conference Call: Mention of the Prepay (pay $1,200) and get stock – this is preferred stock (not common). Talked about exclusive SGW videos and interviews with the developers (guess nobody told MMOGULS the Devs went home).  Now do the Doctors have common or preferred stock? I find it hard to imagine that MMOGULS will have more pull than the Doctor investors. 
 

Either Gary is confident SGW is going to release or he's found a way to rip off every last penny from MMOGULS before it also sinks.

It all has an air of desperation about it, it seems like he's refused to accept the reality and with his most loyal FanOri is hunkered down in his bunker planning his massive comeback and glorious victory. However any objective observer with half a brain can see that inevitabley he'll be forced to accept reality, his business partners will start disappearing, litigation will begin. The only people left that want to invest in his crazy ideas are these nutjobs on the official forums,

and the way I see it most of these guys are either basment dwellers that spend their spare cash on cheap low grade porn and enlarging certain parts of the body. Or fat chicks that spend their spare cash on fad diets and time teasing basement dwellers on cybersex chatrooms and facebook. So unless there's an Oprah Winfrey or Hugh Heffner amongst them I just don't see why anyone would want to invest in MMOGULs or CME. If you wanted to get rid of your money just donate it to charity, atleast someone other than a scumbag like Gary Whiting would get it! I always have doubted CME will survive the summer and still do, as for MMOGULs it'll just fade away when people that are being ripped off start to wise up eventualy.

I disagree, I'd say CME/Firesky/Cash sink studios is more like a ponzi scheme whereas MMOGULs is a pyramid scheme. The difference? Well in this case it's really just semantics but a ponzi is an investment scam where you encourage investors to invest in your company. However you use the investments to pay off other investors so that they keep investing and the merry go round continues whilst 99% of the investor are ignorant to what's happening. A pyramid scheme like MMOGULs has a different investment structure/methodology to the ponzi, but the principle is the same. In the case of the pyramid scheme investors know what they're getting into and investors are usually small time and invest small amounts compared to the usual big time ponzi investors. The pyramid investors also become recruiters as they have to recruit new investors into their "downline" inorder to shave a return of the people they've recruited and eventually the people they recruit. In a pyramid scheme the system and what's happening is known, and despite the poor reputation these schemes have due to leaving people shit out of cash and luck there's always enough saps that'll think it works (if it did we'd all be on a beach in Hawaii getting blown by 20 hula girls whilst drinking Harvey Headbangers!).

That's why I say CME is a ponzi, although Gary hasn't got around to the part of getting new investors to pay off the old ones yet, not through lack of trying though I might add! Also that is why I say MMOGULs is a pyramid scheme, kind of like an IQ test with real life consequences if you get a low score! Though really they're so similar that in the end it's like comparing chips (english chips, Americans may google fish and chips) and french fries. The same type of food made from the same vegetable just cut a little different and served with different dishes.

Oh the good times we've all had! I knew Lisentia was full of hot air when I offered to PayPal her $20 to show me proof that employees were getting paid or even just a statement from CME that said they were and she couldn't deliver. And man did she ever attack me on the official forums just because I said I refused to blindly believe. Oh well. Doubt we'll see her around here anymore. She doesn't strike me as the kind of person who has the maturity to admit she is wrong.

Jenson, Shane and the CME team are not idiots.  They know that MMOGULs exists and the Gary is promoting it.  Everytime they see Deadlands or Stargate mentioned with MMOGUL"s, they send a cease and desist letter.  CME has a written letter from Whiting, one from MMOGULS and one from MMOGUL"s attorney stating unequivacably that MMOGUL's is not affiliated with CME and has no relationship with CME.  But the websites keep showing up and CME keeps sending the cease and desist letters.  Whiting or someone at MMOGUL's continues to put Stargate or Deadland in their literature - I know they want it, but CME and MGM will not allow it to happen.  Any one who is in MMOGULS should never count on ever seeing Stargate or Deadlands.  MMOGUL"S will eventually kill itself by stepping onto this turf.

I finally listed to the Whiting MMOGULS podcast:

• "the game company is going to help MMOGULS for sure"
• (is CMG going to be an asset for MMOGULS?) "Yes absolutely.... We're going to be using our games presence to help MMOGULS."

So Gary is saying that MMOGULs is SGWs "symbiote" so to speak? It takes stargate to a whole new level in both the gaming and business world! In truth we all knew this anyway, even some FanOri are waking up but there are still a few hardcore ones that can convince themselves the two have nothing to do with each other.

I say Gary's statements on the mmoguls podcast will have MGM breathing down his neck. MGM don't want their 2nd biggest product associated with a pyramid scheme. I bet they are regretting they didn't pull the license.
