I havn't logged into the game since it launched and tried my email address in the forgot password thing and it says theres no account with that email address. I still have the box with the cd key and I think thats the email address I used. I can't remember the account or password I woulda used aswel.... there any way of finding the account via the cd key alone? |

So I create a new account to see if my cd keys work and it tells me wrong password...... thought thats odd. Changed my password and tried to login again and it tells me wrong password. Oh Forget it what a crap service, damn Japanese still way behind in the online market. |

I think they used to delete accounts of their main Database an kept them stored somewhere else. But you can reactivate it ive done it a few times you just need to know some info and they can bring it back.

Problem is I got the NA version and live in Europe.... phoning support would cost too much. |

There is a reactivation service, you can try it here www.playonline.com/ff11us/crs/ . If that doesn't work, you can try a webchat with customer service if you have all of that info.

Are the Play Online ID's different to SE accounts? I wouldn't know my Play Online ID anyways cause it only allows a small amount of characters so I wouldn't of been able to use the user name I always used back then. I'm not even sure what email address I used because I was able to signup with SE with the email address I've had since 1999 so I guess I didn't use that unless Play Online really is different. All I have is my Cd Key and my box.
Frigging I go to the play online website and it allows me to use many more characters.........
So I downloaded the game and installed play online and FF11 to see if I could work it out using the actual program. I dunno if it's windows 7 or whatever but the game doesn't want to run, will install fine but not run. |

well, the POL id is 8 characters. and your password is diff 2 but! if the account is linked through square enix website the PW changes. I would call customer support and find out and try to see whats going on and get the credit card numbers you may have used (bank should keep records) for verification. as for windows 7 i have no clue, if you can open POL you should be fine. I want do die in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming like the passengers in his car. :) |
