Hi all, I pre-ordered and this will be my first beta event. I got the key and followed the link to the download program. Going through the program I got the confirm to download Aion (North American) version. As a EU player can I use this program, also, if i can and after the end of beta will I need to uninstall the program and download a EU version or is the NA all the same and there is no problem?

There is only 1 client or program that runs Aion. As long as you bring up your NCsoft launcher on your desktop, go into File then Settings then the Advanced Tab and choose Europe for the region. When you enter you key in NCsoft account it will recognise it as an EU key. This client will be used for the game. The client will have to be patched to version 1.5 before the headstart begins on 20th Sept. Sometimes a patch is applied before closed beta events. The Ncsoft launcher will automatically dload any updates. Good idea trying it a day before the beta event as some updates are large.

When you get sent the beta key from your pre-order it will be an EU beta key so you need to make sure your region is set to Europe otherwise you won't be able to log in. |

great, that clears things up...its almost downloaded now so will have a play around with the options |
