Wow, I have to say these must have gone really fast, sucks for work:P well its all cool because I already preordered and played in the last beta, I got to level 20 and i have to admit for solo/leveling play it is already 10x better then World of Warcraft IMO, I have a lot of friends who couldn't stand WoW because of the solo content and I let them play on my beta account last week and now they are all trying to buy new computers to play Aion lol. And don't say I probably just sucked at wow, because I was sitting in the 2300 range for the first 4 seasons of arena on Battleground Ruin and I experienced all the end-game content. Arena was dope, Wrath sucked, Aion will be sick. That said I hope everyone who tries out the Aion beta enjoys what a treat they got. PS: make sure you check out the quest log features, one of the things I was really impressed about. I have a lot of friends that are idiots when it comes to questing and this really caught their attention.

"In order to get the account/key, your Forum Level has to be more than 0, your Forum Post has to be more than 10, your Answer Score has to be more than 0, your Account Age has to be more than 0. And 0 Gold will be deducted for one account/key."

I was one of the people lucky enough to snag a key soon after they were posted, but after installing the Aion software it seems I have a small battle on my hands. Every time I go to launch the game (and I know the Beta event does not start for another few days...I just wanted to see if it launched at all), I get an alert that Gameguard is trying to tamper with my antivirus. Now, as much as I want to try Aion and help in the beta, I don't think I'll be turning off my security in order to do so. Has anyone run into these Gameguard issues and found a solution that does not involve removing the antivirus software? Thanks.

Open up the Symantec Endpoint Protection main screen. Click on "Change Settings" on the left hand side. Click on "Configure Settings" next to Centralized Exceptions. Under User-Defined Exceptions click Add... Add to the exception list: C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\Aion\bin32\GameGuard\ The above is for a 64bit operating system, if you're using a 32bit OS it'll probably be just C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Aion\bin32\GameGuard\ If you can't add a whole folder then add the GameMon.des file in the GameGuard folder to the exception list and see if it works. "There is as yet insufficient data for a meaningful answer."
