I really enjoyed Fallout, but I think I may believe that Fallen Earth is better. |

I laughed when you said the game has "Fall" in it. yeah i would correct you HARD but am also not wanting to break NDA. They have said repeatedly however in posts and articles that they are not "The Fallout" RPG as everyone so infamously knows. if WoW was your first MMO i don't feel you have an opinion here. |

Oh my! Wow! The game has basic RPG stats like Strength and Charisma! The game is based in an apoctolyptic setting! The game have Fall in the name! How could I not have seen it! It MUST be a Fallout clone!!! But wait.... It's an MMORPG... It lacks the same black humor.... It seems to be a game with a very serious tone... It uses improvised weaponary, unlike Fallout which usually features various firearms... It seems to lack alien life forms, unlike Fallout which features alien life forms and laser weaponary... It's combat system seems to be NOTHING like Fallout, which features a turn-based system, unlike FE's tradition MMORPG system... It doesn't seem to have the perk system like Fallout, or a pip-boy of some kind... Guess it's a Fallout rip-off. No other option. Yeah, there's definitely some inspiration there, but it is in no way a Fallout clone/rip-off. I guess you could say, it's as WoW is to WAR. ____________________________ "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but I know World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein |

When they add crafting to Fallout, you would only have the first reason to start a thread like this. Every game has "factions" so yeah, they ripped off Fallout. Not.
Then they aren't "exactly the same", no?
You're not crazy and paranoid. You're just-

I tried that torrent, worked great, lotta seeders, it DL'd fast. Ran the file to check the vid quality, it's not bad at all. Gonna watch it this weekend, it's been many years since I last saw it. Never woulda had the idea if you hadn't made your list, Thanks! Some folks might not get this but I have 2 words for both games.

End of the world stuff make it similar but as far as gameplay goes, its not even really close. Wish it was though, lol, that would b an awesome game |

Originally posted by PonyboyJR Doesn't really matter to me. It's an MMO and Fallout wasn't. Looks like a cool concept. The crafting system really interests me. Seems as though it will make crafting worthwhile and fun. Hopefully it will have enough of a fanbase to survive. I also liked the concept of Hellgate: London which offered a regular offline retail game to play as well as an online MMO with both free and pay options. I don't feel quite as cheated that it went belly up because I still have the offline game to play. May try it because I've been looking for a game with a cool crafting system. |

They have stated so many times "We are not the Fallout MMO!" if WoW was your first MMO i don't feel you have an opinion here. |

whatever they wrote, people never care to read (or worse, to try themselves) and keep on bullshitting. as a matter of facts, everything is a rip-off of everything else that came first... |
