I am dead bored of the MMO I currently play, wow. I miss the good old days of Guild Wars, waking up every morning with the urdge of exploring, trying new missions, and trying new builds. I loved the enviroments in guildwars, but after playing it for 3 years I did all that I can do and moved to wow. Wow feels so damn old right now, only reason I log on is to do raids, which is pritty damn boreing for me.

I have tried aion beta, I am not a big fan but will still give it a shot. Anyone know a MMO that is released or soon to be released that can grab my attension. I am not looking for a grind fest, but rather a MMO that requires skill over levels and gear.

DDO is pretty simillar to GW since most tof the game is instances so you could give it a try, its going to be re-released with a free to play option on September 9 (currently in beta). Lots of character custimization with different builds and even multiclassing (up to 3 different classes).

Is there a buddy key or trial for the game?

No trial.   Its a harsh game.  If there was a trial, it would be 100x harder to start the game as a newbie, because people will make guilds like R.I.P.  in AoC and camp newbie areas 24/7.  AV is a small time operation (as compared to multi-billion dollar company like Blizzard), so a free trial would hurt the game more than help.
