All Beta players are invited for a stress test event on the Lamannia server tonight from 8-11 PM EST. Testers who login during the event will automatically be entered to win a number of prizes, with the grand prize amounting to a free lifetime VIP subscription to Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited.

Additional prizes up for grabs include three ATI HD4890 graphics cards, and 10 DDO Unlimited posters signed by the development team. Winners will be contacted via e-mail on September 14th, 2009. It also sounds like the longer you are online during the event, the better your chances are to win.

For more information on the event, head on over to the official event page.

I'm positive about what I play. If it ends & I get negative, I move on. This is how we not troll.

Turbine is buying out licenses for all of their games (LotrO, DDO, AC) from Europe partners at the moment. This means that There won't be 2 companies for one game, but Turbine will most likely run new DDO by themselves. If this happens, I'm sure there will be contests with prizes for European players after they launch it here : ).

So, maybe not now, but... Soon? (tm)

This game is overrated and bad. And the beta is bugged beyond belief.

I lolled at your lame tentative to discredit a Turbine Game.

You might not like DDO game play but Turbine makes really well polished games.

So much that even LotRo and DDO launches have been much smoother than WoW.
