Personally I think it depends on what you like... For myself, I already have to shell out enough for 2 game packages (one for me, one for the GF) so Im gonna be cheap and not get the CE :p 

Still, if those things appeal to you and its within budget I say go for it.  Also depends on if you plan to play for the long haul or just "give it a whirl".... Its a hard question for the community to answer because its really a personal preference.

None of these items you'll be wearing endgame. However I know the wings are 10 seconds better than the best wings you can buy at level 30. You'll be wearing those wings from 30-low 40's and you'll save yourself 1 million Kinah. I didn't get the Collector's Edition.

I am not sure the digital Collectors Edition is worth it... I bought the Limited Collectors Edition (boxed version, includes soundtrack, artwork, action figure, etc) with the same bonus items. To me that was worth it... if I wasn't able to get a boxed CE, I probably wouldn't buy the CE. I like physical boxes for my games, so I would just buy the standard.

If you like Aion it is. I bought the normal edition just to stick with my guildies, but hey I'm just human.

I think any CE is a complete waist of money and I don't shell out the extra dough for them (no matter how much I'm into said game), but I guess if you're a HUGE fan and have the extra dough, then it's obviously relative and worth it to the fan. In other words, you be your own judge in this case.

The title and stat boost might be worth it depending if you plan on min maxing or just being casual.

The wings are a significant upgrade basically equivalent to a permanent green lvl (is it 15?) potion of +flight time.

It also depends on how much the extra $20 or $30 are worth to you. Some people have no problems spending money. Other's like me have a budget and have to buy the regular version even if the collector's version is better.

Apparently the CE benefits can be used on each and every character you make. It isn't a one time benefit. The bonus seems to be well worth it for those planning to roll many alts.

The wings are the only reason to get the collectors edition, because the levle 30 wings are ridiculously expensive, so there is no reason to skip getting them for 10 bucks more. And they loook cool.

I never buy CE as for me its never worth it, it never give items that are useful at end level nor it will benifit your characters at endgame. and emotes well i hardly ever use them.

You get a title with stat boost. That definitely helps end game. Especially if you min max.

you get titles ingame without CE, you know the CE title is best with the given stats? i dont

  I'm a collector edition junky, been getting them forever.   mine also comes with the following items ( notsure if there also for all characters or one time only) .  Im not saying its worth it but its better than other CE Ive purchased before.

 Error nevermind just saw that they were only during the head start then i guess there gone after that.  But head start is still alittle nice, get out of the starter zones.

I'm not sure about what title being "best" or anything, just that the stat boost to every char on that account can't be a bad thing. Saves having to repeat the same quests/achievements to get titles for each toon. If you get a title on your 50 Priest, and decide to roll a Sorceror, you have to get that title again for the new toon. With CE each toon comes with a title with a stat boost.

While it might not be best AT end game, it might be worth it if you choose to GO end game. Especially with multiple toons.

Plus with the 7 extra days of free play before sub kicks in, even the most budget minded can still be covered by the extra expenses with upgrading to CE.

To each their own though.

Yeah those are the reasons I'm fronting the extra money. But that's just me hehe.

I think items vary depending on where you preorder.  I think you get a different ring from a gamestop preorder as you do from say amazon or best buy. Not sure if its a ring or what the differences are though.

  Oh...... Well it has all the pther stuff too but if every pre-order gets early access then no not really worth buting the CE.  But still i dont have any kids so if you but COLLECTOR on the front of it and looks like a decent game ill buy it.

yeah i think its worth it, i have the CE on preorder.
