At the risk of being unkind about the translation, I cannot tell what the hell is going on at the login screen when the servers are full, or what I am supposed to do.

1. A panel comes up which reads, "Auto login will begin. Waiting peroid will be based on time line." There is a progress bar which completes about once every two seconds. In the lower left hand corner, periodically: "...Requesting user confirmation..." The only things I can do are click "Exit" or just wait, which seems to do nothing.

2. Clicking "Exit" changes the panel text to "Cancel Auto Login and close the game. Waiting peroid will be reset." My options here are "Confim," which quits out, and "Cancel," which takes me back to the other screen.

Am I supposed to just sit there doing nothing while the game repeatedly requests my confirmation? Is it requesting some other user's confirmation? I understand this game is full of bots and have no intention of immersing myself in it, but if I could try it out without feeling like an asshat that would be pretty cool.

basically the servers are full (and i mean FULL) of bots and they don't log off.  Basically you have to sit there (i sat there for an hour and a half before i got in) until someone logs off and your next in line to log on.

I suggest leaving the log in thing going while you surf the forums or watch a show and check back on it periodically to check if you are logged in.  As for the game, it was decent i suppose but the logging in troubles made it so i only got to play 3 times (over 2 weeks) and i played for about 4 hours each time to make use of the precious log in time i had.

 mm gameguard do its update and cycle then you should see silkroad sign at same time after that it take about 30 sec  to arive at the screen of silkroad once there if your lucky you might have a server avail to play (for the luck is about 1 / 100) and when that happen its because all the good fun stuff is finish so to resume basicly this game isnt avail its just too popular

may i sugest rune of magic in september upgrade will have been done + they will have released book 2 not long after upgrade(graphic and sound etc) and all the upgrade they ve been pilling up since march ,yes the upgrade is a huge deal never 

saw a f2p game do what most p2p game would do but this game is upgrading the game not just updating and releasing new content

see you in september i sure know ill be playing this till final fantasy (ya i know its still far off lol)

I don't really mind not being able to play this, as I play too many MMOs already, but now and then I get in a mood to try out some F2P and it had been years since I gave Silkroad a chance so figured why not.

I've played at least 50 F2P games and have never seen or heard of a situation where a game was completely handed over to the gold farming industry. You'd think they would notice their customer base disappearing with no one able to play the game. How the hell did this happen? The Asian MMO industry has been dealing with RMT botters for coming up on a decade now, and they're getting better and better at it. Did someone at Joymax run off with an nProtect exec's girlfriend?

Well, condolences to my fellow F2P suckers. I may not give much of a damn about this game, but as an RF Online fan I know what it's like. :(

there is bot but the thing is this game is popular ,if you ever plan to get serious about this game ,and go in the event silkroad organise like the insane castle fight or whaever they call it plan at least 12 login in advance to make sure you re there at the time 

and no its not just bot ,people beleive that because they dont see player in the starting stage 

lol do you see lot of player in org ,undercity or any wow city rarely lol same deal here ,this game is popular for 1 reason its not a ressource hog ,my friend told me he can play silkroad on almost any computer

the got a new system in place since july to get rid of bot  etc but check any game even in wow 

they keep adding server but they either just cant keep up or they lock server (trough bogus bot from silkroad themselves,dont flame me its what some pro pgamer say online )

lol..just out of curiosity i figured i would try login to this game,it's been awhile.Now i find they have a que ue system pfft,like that wiill help anything,i mean geesh,whoever is charge there must have a peanut for a brain,or are trying to pretend they are showing some effort.

The REAL problem is botting,they are never going to solve the server capacity with a que ue lol.There is probably about 15-20 legit players that are not RMT/botting or using the hacks to by pass the login screen or are using the item mall suit to get in no matter what..That is a very low number to wait for on a que ue system,you could get lucky ,but you might wait many hours.

Overall,i really doubt this game ,i mean JOYMAX will ever clean up their act.They know that we all know the issues are because of botting,so why on earth would they try to pull this rubbish,that does nothing?I have already come to the conclusion that both Joymax and NCSOFT also operate with RMT sales,they benefit from botting,so they are never going to remove it.Same BS in AION on the Asian servers,same GG as the anti-hack,yep they do nothng because they are the reason it fails.

I been in a certain mood of trying these F2P games recently and let me tell you, avoid this one at all costs, unless you like waiting for HOURS (this is not an exaggeration either) to log in. Every server is says its "CROWDED" once you get to the server selection screen.

I tried a few servers to see if the wait time was different, forget it, same shit on ever server. I loaded up the game at 5:30pm EST and still in que at 7:00pm est  (Venus Server). I have logged in 1 time within 3 days, I kid you not.

Goodluck to the people that want to try this game out now in its current state.
