I know this is coming from SOE and we all know how we all feel about SOE. Yet I can help, but feeling like the going be the best super heroe MMO. When it comes out in 2010 or whenever. DC Universe Online is gonna slaughter City of Heroes and Champions Online. The only game that might ever compete with DCUO is if Marvel finally makes a MMO. Which then I think it would be neck and neck with a tie. CoH and CO are just cheap knock-offs of the true comic book super heroes of the DC and Marvel Universes. Other than iconic characters and stories, DCUO even has better gameplay and physics. If Marvel doesn't step up, DCUO will automatically be the king of the super hero MMOs. CoH and CO don't even have a chance. Note: I have played a lot of City of Heroes and I am a beta tester for Champions Online. After playing both of them, DC Universe Online's screenshots and videos make me what to play DCUO even more and I haven't even played it yet. Well anyway its just my opinion. Everyone is welcome to their own. When we get back from where we are going, we will return to where we were. I know people there! |

I just can't get excited about this game. The more I see of it, the less inclined I am to buy it. The pictures looks like they could have been taken from CO's own website.... |

Not really. CO avatars have a distinct black outline around them and DCUO does not, and they both have two totally differant Graphic styles. Than again I dont judge the graphics til it gets real close to launch as most companies (I would think) are more worried about game mechanices and bug fixes than Painting. |

Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this. |

I agree with this, and I can't see SOE doing anything else. It would have been really nice for at least 1 of the new superhero games to not be pay to achieve. |

While I share your feelings, I suppose you will pass a whole lot of MMOs to come, then.
I think too those screenshots look exactly like Champions, outlines or not. So far I hear almost everyone in CO beta plays without outlines, aynway. Nice screenies. |

Meh, they look alittle more rounded not so edgy..... kinda phantasy star-ish to me for some reason... ... still keeping an eye on this one... |

Well, if the objective of those pictures were to show how the female characters got ass, they've succeeded! Hell yeah! |
