No in Ryzom you cannot jump, though you can swim.  There also is an emote that gives your character the visible appearance of jumping.  Otherwise the game has little use for jumping and in some cases is nice to not see 30 or so "kiddies" jumping around like a bunch of idiots.

At first, I was a bit peeved there was no jump, and still am every now and then. Overall though, I'm not really missing the ability. Especially, as Souvec said, because you don't see idiots jumping around all over the place for no reason.

Like it has been stated before, there is no need to jump in this game.

This is also a great way to keep people away from the game who really would not add anything to the game/community. If someone refuses to play or at least try a game just because they can't jump, means they should play something else.
